It doesn't let you type present because it's the most recent. I think there's a box that asked if this is your current job etc. When you check that box that's indicating present.

I think just the first time is fine - for example, on the translator/lawer section I put N/A on just the first few items because I think at that point it's obvious I don't have a translator/lawyer filling out the application for me. IDK though, the perfectionist in me was tempted to put N/A on ALL THE THINGS but then I was afraid it would look messy.

Hahah yeah this whole thing makes me paranoid sometimes yeah I'm typing what all it let me type and then hand writing the rest btw I'm the benificiary I'm doing all the paperwork lol 😂

Print it out and then hand write in PRESENT neatly.  Someone told me to do that when I asked the same question :)

As long as it's neat you should be fine.

Thank you will do 😂

Yes I'm going over next month.

Me too, I am a little nervous as this will be the first time I go through immigration with the fiancée visa request. I have a job in my home country and a house, etc, but don't know what to expect when I cross the border. Anyone knows how they've been handling visa application visitors?

I know I feel the same... however I am taking copies of the paperwork (basically everything we sent off) a copy of the NOA1, letter from my employer, my contract, my Rota. Emails from wedding venues to say when I'm looking at getting married. Anything that says I'm not staying longer than my 2 weeks.

Adding myself to the July list. Hopefully, we will have our visa before year's end. Wishful thinking?

yeaa..Some us July filers should have their visas before the end of the year...

I've never been anxious about anything like i am about this damn NOA2

Does anyone think Trump have anything to do with USCIS working at a sloth's pace now????

i mean... just before he was sworn into office.. ppl used to get their NOA2 in 60 days or less... now its taking between 120 to 200 dayssad:(

During this long stretch of silence, I thought it would be neat to share our stories! It's nice to hear about other couples who are in this process with us.

  • How did you two meet?
  • How long have you been together?
  • What was it like meeting in person for the first time?

Looking forward to hearing some awesome stories! :)
