There are the standard reasons for an expedite, then there are reasons that aren't listed. I was chit chatting with an operator at the NVC and he suggested I request an expedite. I said, "its not one

One post has been removed -- the poster asked about an August scan date here in the July thread.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hello July scan dates!!, it's been 6 weeks since your scan date. The NVC seems to be processing cases faster these days. Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

 

Check My Visa Application Status 

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

 

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you have a completed case (CC)... (this only applies to IR1/CR1 visa types) Please call the NVC to confirm.

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet - 2017  with your latest status.

5, to update your mailing address, phone number, email address

6, if your case is at a US embassy or consulate overseas

7, for all other questions

Just checked visa status at CEAC:  Still says application at NVC, but no longer asks for documents supporting AoS etc., instead asks for pre-interview documents.  Hopefully that means CC on its way fortnight after review began 25 August, 7 weeks after SD 19 July.

Around week 5 I noticed we had to send fingerprints along with police certificate. So when I sent that. I'm pretty sure that reset my time. Ugh. Gonna call Monday to see if I can get a supervisor to review my case.

Yeah, you're on day 64. I imagine you'll get a CC any day now.. most likely next week. Def call on Monday to see what's going on. And yeah, doesn't hurt to get a supervisor on your case.. Wishing you luck.

YAY!! so happy that everything worked out for you!!! yeah, def give a call on monday to confirm. but for sure that's a CC!!! expect your cc email in 1 week. :)

Awesome, thanks for that, and for confirmation.  Time to round up all pay stubs I received after submitting the AoS documents; hopefully I can wait a couple weeks to send them to my wife, because the company is giving us a raise effective today, but that will not show up on a pay stub until a week from next Friday.  We meet the income requirements as stated, but I prefer as big a cushion as possible to reassure the CO as much as possible.

Thanks, and all I can say is yours should be "soon."  sssssb had a SD just a single day before mine (so 3 days before yours) yet the NVC only began REVIEWING our submission 3 days before issuing their CC, and notified them of their interview date 5 days ago; we technically don't even have our CC yet.  So you should be close, probably a week either way (presuming no checklist, heaven willing) but who knows exactly when...?

Just get my CC tonit😁😁,called nvc yesterday and hav been told the review of my case started on 6th september(last tuesday).i just checked my case statut on line tonit and no more"submit required documents" but it say "at NVC".And my AOS infos say "N/A".. Will call nvc tomorrow 4 confirmation. 😄😄
