I signed up for an account, saved my receipt number (Starts with WAC.............)

You can confirm email and mobile alerts as well.

Mine shows nothing except the original 'we received ur case' nonsense? Any reason why yours is so detailed?

Did you sign up and make a username and password? Or just enter case number?

And the items i copied before with different dates is only because of the expedite request. They just acknowledge it.

If you do sign up though you get options to control email and mobile notifications.

How do you request expedited? Under what grounds can you ask?

I know.... 😔😔😔 my friend last year got married. They only waited for 3 months total for the whole process. And what bothers me is, we're not still sure if we're getting NOA2 or RFE. We've been in a Long Distance Relationship for 5 years. We had no problems waiting for a year to see each other. But this time is different. Its so hard. 😔😔😔

Nothing in the process is identical to someone or some other time. There is always change and it's based on their work load.  You're working on a K-1 and if you friend, from last year, was married their process was a CR1 is entirely different from a K-1 and how it is adjudicated. Don't expect there is any similarity to a K-1. Sorry.... just calling it the way I see it and I don't sugar coat any "news". Right now expect to get a NOA2 because if you have gone over your paperwork typically you won't get an RFE but if you already see something you missed then there's your answer.  This is a long process and no one can explain to you when this or that will happen. It's a process that is fluid. Just keep busy and stop looking at the :clock:

I joined VJ after I submitted the 129f  (my fiance is in Algeria and I didn't realize I needed to front load).

Here is what I am doing for the interview......

I downloaded my whatsapp but chose a few conversations per month (and it is my understanding that they will only look at new information  (after the filing of the 129f)

Screen shots of Viber and Skype logs.

I traveled to Algeria in March  (after filing the petition) so I have a copy of the travel documents and my visa for Algeria.

Any wedding plans that have been made

Engagement/wedding ring receipts

And I am going to the interview  (which will probably be in October)

Don't add to your paperwork submittal or bring to the interview any wedding plans or engagement wedding ring receipts or "engagement" pictures.  Many have done the same and the CO thinks you are married and "DECLINED" is stamped on your 129f and sent back to USCIS for filing in the round file.  Don't take a chance. If the CO asked you about wedding plans, keep it simple in your reply. The least you say the better you are. The co's are trained professionals and can unearth just about anything. I know because I witness someone at another window from my wife who was in the mist of immigration fraud and the CO spotted it not more than two sentences into the interview. Just my experience. Take for what it worth.

Yes, absolutely. Thank you for adding that.

My fiance and I have had no party  (engagement or otherwise). And I do not plan on buying engagement rings until I go to Algeria for the interview....I did think about including a price sheet  (dated within a week of me traveling to Algeria with a brochure) just in case they asked specifics (from a different state than mine....and he's never been to the US) but can easily not include those things  (I just don't want him to sound evasive if asked the question)

Thank you!

I have a question. So in October 2015, my fiance travelled to the U.S with her 8 year-old-kid on tourist visas to visit her daughter. Then when she came to visit me, I suggested her to stay a little bit longer  that the kid went to school. And he did for 3 months. Then they came back before their 6-month entry ended. When they came back to the U.S after 2 weeks to attend her daughter's graduation, they were stopped at the port of entry. They said that the little kid went to school and that's illegal. So she was asked if she still wanted to stay but then she chose to go back. They said she could still apply for a visa. We've been together for 4 years and we just filed our petition mid-June and received our NOA1 on June 23rd. We're still waiting for our NOA2. The agent that we've hired for our petition said that our evidence and proofs of a true relationship are very strong. I wonder if the event in the past would affect her chance of getting k1 visa for her and k2 visas for her kids cause we've been together for long time and our relationship is genuine.

I don't recall the exact wording of the questions asked by the CO. But in the end it was a sister(2) that was trying to get a visa for the sister's (1) son masquerading him as her(2) own flesh and blood when in fact it was her sister's(1) child.  The sister(1) lives in the US. They were denied and hence now the sister(1) will have to wait a very long time before she can apply for her son to be with her. Just stupid ignorance thinking she could get away with it. What a wonderful missed opportunity for the boy to come and be with his mother and be educated and have the benefits of all that is available in the US.
