Except that I didn't mention religion, so the parallel stands.  Kacznsky and McVeigh got their terrorist skills right here at home, so even without anyone's help, they managed to commit terrorism all the same. Not to mention the Aurora and Sandy Hook massacres. All on their own. All home grown. Somehow doesn't make anyone feel any better.

I'm sure they don't but I'd hope that they don't go looking at their Muslim neighbor differently after this. A few bad eggs don't represent everyone who comes from a certain area of the world.

I think enough people have discussed immigration, politics and religion in this thread. Even made fun of it. 

I just come to say that I'm incredibly saddened by what happened, and I hope the victims and the families

involved in this terrible tragedy, eventually find closure and peace. 

I'd say I wish these terrorist attacks around the world wouldn't result in a witch hunt, but that'd be wishful 

thinking.

Right wing, not in the UK, or from what I have seen the US.

 

I thought Islam was a love child of the Regressive Left, never understood that but it is what it is.

I have a handful of gay/lesbian friends who couldn't come out to their traditional, Christian families, and I'm sure many others have had this experience in the US, especially in rural areas or the south. 

 

For the record, I don't support super traditional or radical Islam. Just saying that there are many such as my husband and his family/friends who grew up in predominantly Muslim countries who are secular, non-practicing and can 100% behave themselves in the west.

the "regressive" left is in a steamy love affair with personal liberty, the resulting love child has no religion.

since you're not a fan of inclusion, diversity or personal liberty, what do you propose we do to rid ourselves of terror? i'm thinking that on a planet of almost 8 billion people you're never ever going to create a guaranteed safe space that protects from radical islamic terror or lone wolf terror or homegrown terror. do you suggest that national security focuses only on islam and refugees/children of refugees? kind of a set up for failure if you ask me.
