YIPPPPPEEEEEEEE WE ARE APPROVED!!! 325360

After 175 long days of waiting, notification came to my fiance by text and email this afternoon!!! The only day I didn't have signal on my phone and in back to back meetings lol but I was greeted by a most welcome Halloween treat :jest::jest::jest:

It has been said a million times already, but again I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support, shared stories and moral boosting messages over these near 6 months of waiting - the VJ forum has been the most amazing network of support.

For all those still waiting I get it - all the frustration and not knowing a snippet of information, seeing everyone else approved days after your receive date - been there, hear you - but it WILL HAPPEN, not an if but a when :)))))

GRATZ!!

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

I have a feeling Monday will be a 100+ day :D and hopefully today they push through many many cases to close out the month so they can show better numbers to management lol

Lol, this is exactly what I was hoping for. Some quota hysteria pushing through more work today.

Why don't you come to mexico or canada, and meet there. It's not possible to get waiver without valid reason, like medical etc. From Nigeria, would almost be impossible. You will get RFE and if you cannot provide evidence of meeting, you will most likely be denied. If she doesn't have job, how is she planning to provide affidavit of support? Good luck..

thank you so much for your responds there, she just lost her job last month because she got sick now she is alright and looking for a new job which she already applying for some openings, but please what is the RFE and what do you advise i have waited for too long for this petition thank you

RFE - request for evidence; since the evidence for meeting is missing, they will ask her to provide it. Even if you meet for couple of days, coming from Nigeria, it's going to be hard getting approval from the Consulate. There are several other factors. I know there was one case from Nigeria that's been going on for a year. The more evidence you can show it's legitimate, the better the chances are. Good luck!

Waiver is very very very unlikely almost impossible to get. It rarely happens..... How old is she, is she sick all the time. What was the original reason for requesting the exception to meeting?
