Please note that there are lot of variables that cause cases to be approved out of order, so even if you see others with your same date being approved/RFE'd, just be patient. Yours will come. :)

 

thank you for answering me , my date is may 8 and i've seen they are approving cases close to my date, im so anxious about it and i've read a lot of comments here and i know we all are anxious about getting our NOA2 soon, im trying to be patient but its so hard especially with so many cases close to mine being approved, but thank you again and Good luck for all of us ^_^

What are the odds, two cases from May 3rd, and both requests to withdraw, happened to show up today, almost 6 months later? :D Not really. For the bottom one they received the request for withdrawal on May 22, and it has not been updated since, over 150 days. And how about the top one? Somebody really thinks that the request came in today of all days? And it just so happened that that very case did not get approved or at least RFE'd until today, so withdrawal request? Well, that would be an "Olympic photo--finish" withdrawal beating the RFE or approval :huh:

My petition was approved on oct 24th and i got the letter of approval as well today saying they sent my case to the nvc. can someome tell me how long it took for u to receive the notice from nvc that they sent it to the embassy??

lol at first i did not understand what you meant. I hope it is exactly as you are saying, did a quick search of all my logs for those two cases. I think once USCIS receives written request to withdraw a petition the file has to be  reviewed and acknowledgement letter is mailed out.

Hi everybody. I just have a question. 

 

Did anyone here apply for a K-2 visa? And what are the requirements needed for that? Can you only apply for a K-2 visa after your K-1 visa is approved?

Crazy cus that's what our wedding will look like 😍😍 we're having a beach wedding, and having the reception in a beach house. I just paid off my dress a few minutes ago 😆😆

You can call NVC after 10 working days to get your case number so you can track when you leave NVC and when it arrives in your embassy. Don't expect a physical copy of NVC has forwarded your case, they might or might not send it. You only need the case number from them, nothing else.

My NOA2 was 10/10 and I got my case number on 10/24. I started calling a week later though! 

NOA1 Received Date: April 27th, 2017

NOA1 Notice Date: May 1st, 2017

RFE email notice: September 25th, 2017

RFE hardcopy received: September 28th, 2017

USCISs Response to RFE received: September 29th, 2017

NOA2: October 10th, 2017

NVC Received and Case Number Assigned: October 24th, 2017

NVC Left and Consulate Received: October 26th, 2017

Medical Exam: November 7th, 2017

Interview: December 5th, 2017 APPROVED

Visa on hand: December 8th, 2017

POE (LAX): December 12th, 2017

Nope, I got it over phone. My case status changed to in transit today so I think it’s on the way to the embassy.

Well thats great to hear!!sounds like way less than 4 weeks that they say. You have not done ur ds 160 form or set up interview yet right??
