Ahh! It really does feel good! especially how everything is in the one month! I'm hoping i've chosen a good amount of space between the medical and meeting! got my fingers crossed, think I allowed like 7 working days and 10 actual days, on the embassy website I was told to wait 5 working days, so i'm hoping it'll be more then enough, how is everything going with you?

I'm not entirely sure haha, I asked what was the first one available and the women on the phoned said two weeks time which is the 19th. Hopefully they'll still be available! when are you going to book it?

Congrats on finally being on the home straight! Must be so exciting :)

Our case is still 'at NVC'. If I could book now I would but dont want to risk it not being at the embassy before the medical. Hopefully it will be there by Friday (going by other peoples timelines) but who knows!

I think you should be fine with ten days

If you don't have to pick up the results yourself like here, to take them to the Embassy, them worst case scenario is they put you briefly on administrative processing until they get them, but very unlikely.

I'm in an emotional rollercoaster, hoping for things to move swiftly and conveniently for me, dreading that's not the case. So I'm like "I can make it", next second "l can't make it". Oh  well, it will happen anyway :)

Welp, got our rfe today and as I predicted, they wanted proof of meeting in person.  Which, ironically, we already sent.  Photos of us, receipts, airline tickets, the whole nine yards.  Frustrating, needless to say, but I've since visited two more times, so now I can send more photos, more receipts, more airline tickets and more stamps.  Oh well... It's the hand we've been dealt.  It also proves my theory that each of these people process cases differently.  Others have sent the same stuff and have moved on to NOA2.  Oh well... I am just praying there is a quick turnaround on it!

Medical booked for the 19th September

Readiness form completed.

And my interview booked for the 29th September :)

Feeling good!

How is everyone?

When you booked your interview, did you get to choose the date at the embassy? and what did you put for you're date of wedding? I heard this can affect when you have the interview.

When you sent your evidence the first time with your petition, how many trips/visits did you guys have under your belt? And how many pictures and/or airline ticket info?

I'm only asking because I'm following right after you and want to gauge the possibility of me getting an RFE or not. Although, I know it is case by case basis.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Just the trip that we met and the trip where he proposed.  Honestly, I think that they might have misplaced some of my stuff because we provided everything they say they need now so I'm not sure what the deal is.  Regardless, it is what it is. So I'm reprinting everything and including some additional back up (bank statements showing I withdrew money while there, stuff like that).  I'm also going to write a letter which the RFE letter suggests as an option for additional information, detailing our trip and explaining all of the documents I am sending.

Packet 3 is finished. I'm just now completely obsessing over the documents I sent my fiancee. I sent them out on August 28th and they have been in Australia for 2 days now, but no update through USPS and fiancee didn't receive them yet. So, I get to stress about that now. Yippie. :jest: Now, we wait for Packet 4 and here's to hoping the papers get there before Packet 4. I still don't know if we are scheduling the interview ourself, or if one is being scheduled for us since we got expedited. I guess we'll see and find out. In the meantime, maybe I should take a xanax. Hahaha.

wow, it looks like once the NOA2 is received, it all goes fast!! ^_^
