I believe this is the updated processing times from USCIS so they are saying that as of July 31st, 2017 they were processing from March 1st, 2017. Before it was as of June 30th, 2017 they were processing from February 1st, 2017. I think this is what the tier 1's see when they tell you about "current processing times" obviously since this from July it is not too current.

When calling uscis yes it's only for the petitioner but NVC the beneficiary has access and can get the case number after noa2 :)

Correct statement.  At uscis, the beneficiary has just been petitioned to be recognized - after approval, the beneficiary or the petitioner may freely contact the NVC for information.

regarding option 2 - ok, this is first forum I've read that someone got a number from option 2.  If that works, then try option 7, 5, and 2 LOL  3 calls a day is better than 2, right? :)

Sometimes, these cases have a hard time getting to the NVC.  I have seen some take 7 and 8 weeks - while others get there in days.  Seems like you have to catch the truck at the dock or wait for the next truck that comes in a week......  Anyway, here is a recent VJ member that had a similar situation, she finally got NOA2 approval and they took about 4 weeks to get her a number assigned at NVC.

Don't let this deter you too much - maybe you are already doing these, but in case..... just make sure you are busy with your evidences to take to the embassy, schedule your CFO, Start and save your DS-160, and when you get that MNL number from NVC, just step on the gas and go fast :D

So I called USCIS again this morning.  I pressed the tier 1 for a transfer and then I was given the call back option.  The tier 2 gave zero information.  Same "processing as of 1 March".  I pressed and told her I knew cases after ours were approved and made it clear we were past the 5 month mark.  Eventually I was given a phone number for the USCIS Ombudsman here in DC.  I called them and it was a direct line but he pointed me to the website to fill out a DHS7001 form and then email requesting an expedited response.  Apparently, this process says it can take 45 days so I'm not sure what good it will do.  I will call back tomorrow if I don't hear anything today.

Anyone else been this deep in the transfer rabbit hole?

152 days and still waiting.  Waiting on the congressional inquiry, ombudsman inquiry and and a NOA2 now.

Called NVC. They said they still don't have it. Can take up to 6 weeks. Tried option 5 and 7. My fiancé would like to call uscis to check if they already forwarded it to NVC. What do you guys think? Should we just till friday again and give a call?

If I remember right, we've received noa2s on the same day, on the 5th. well, I called today too. Tried the immigrant visa line with the option 2. And they also said they don't see our case yet. uhhhhh. I really hoped they had gotten it...

Hello! Congratulations on your NOA2! I am Belarusian though i moved to live in Ukraine. I thought there was an option for Belarusians to turn to the US embassy in Kiev, Ukraine. There's no need in visa in this case.

Here's the link to the polish embassy in Minsk http://www.minsk.msz.gov.pl/be/consular_information/visas/rodzaje/

the visa costs around 60 euros but you need to act fast - there may be a huge line of applicants there - that's one of the most popular embassies for Belarusians to receive their Schengens.

Good luck!!!
