Here is link for my fellow Russian K1 April filers.  News this morning from US embassy Russia... https://ru.usembassy.gov/fact-sheet/

Looks like more wait time for us.  However, if they are still processing immigrant visas.  K1 is officially classified as immigrant visa https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/all-visa-categories.html

Curious to learn if any one with scheduled K1 interview is canceled and has to reschedule.

I have sent an email to embassy asking for how this will affect K1 visa interviews.

Thank you! Not sure if it's the NOA2 or an RFE, but either is fine because it shows that they're working on the case. So I'm happy anyway. I got so excited that I had to wake my fiancée up and share the news

I'm sure it is NOA2!!

So the first indication you received of an NOA2 was via text message? Did you have to sign up for that service, or did they just get the phone number from your application?

Thanks

G1145 form, sent with application, no further action needed. Good luck and you will have your noa2 soon.

For the k-1 visa is almost nothing new ... always goes through an interview only in Moscow ... because NOA 2 has is  limited of 4 months, they will still provide a timetable for interviews at this period and no later than

Day 11 after NOA2 :o

I've just spent like 20 minutes gathering all the information and tips Gary's going to need to call NVC later today, since he's kind of clueless about the whole thing. Hope that goes well :)

I'll let you know how it goes, of course. @tcovington both lines can see K1's, but we are going to try with immigrant, option 5, because they used to be the only ones able to see electronic cases in the new system.

Thank you. Very much needed
