ME and my fiancé is worried about our packet. WE sent it to this address Using priority mail last march 11, 2017

USCIS

attn: I-129f original submission

P.O Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

We tracked it down and it says it was delivered last march 14, 2017 at 3:46am to Dallas, Tx 75260. :(( Different zipcode.

It has been 7 days since it was delivered to that different zipcode and we still don't have our noa1 or a text or email coming from the UScis That they received our packet..

is it normal? Is there a way we can contact the USCIS AND ASK them if they have our packet without a case number? We're just so worried about it right now. :((

Don't worry it can take up to two weeks for you to receive anything from them due to the volume of packages that they get on a daily basis. So don't worry at all.

You think so? I know someone who sent their packet and it only took them 3 days.. :(( that's why I'm worried. Is it okay even if it was delivered to different zipcode?

Yes, this is a very routine question asked on here and it is about two weeks to hear anything back. Also recognize that some peoples timelines can vary so don't base yours off of just one person.

Don't compare cases, especially just one. People easily get stressed over doing that. Lockboxes are getting a hundreds of letters/packages a day but the standard waiting time is around one to three weeks to receive your I-797 in the mail.

Don't worry about the zip code. Mine did the same thing...I think they all do that are sent to the PO BOX.  It took us 8 days to received the email/text after our packet arrived in TX.  Good luck with your journey!

You need to relax.  If you are getting this stressed over a simple delivery, you won't be able to handle the months and months of waiting with absolutely no word from immigration as to the status of your petition.

Everything happens in due time, you just have to wait your turn.  And it's not always processed in chronological order, so somebody who sent it in a month after you may get approved first.  Find a hobby or something to keep your mind off this immigration stuff.  It can drive you nuts if you let it.

The wait is agonizing! Received my NOA-1 on 1/3. VJ average time between NOA1 & 2 is 69 days....I'm now at 77 and pray when I finally hear it's not that they're missing info.  I was optimistic at 6 months when I started the process, thinking it's probably going to be more like NINE! (If we're lucky)

don't worry :) if your tracking page says it's been delivered, believe that it has been. We sent ours on March 8th and didn't receive any text/email until March 17th. We haven't received the hard copy NOA1 yet thus far.

I believe the text/email system is automated so unfortunately you just have to wait, but you'll hear back. All the best and don't stress! It's only the beginning.
