When does your petition expire? I heard ap can last up to 60 days buts usually after approval. Can it last 60 days when still at nvc?

Your NOA2 gives you 4 months

Embassy can extend this without much effort.

The main thing is the Medical, as 6 months from the medical, you have to be in the US.

Our petition expires in early December.

I heard that too that AP can last about 60 days but in most of the times month or around so.

Yes, getting close.  Ann asks me everyday "how many days now?"  When we got to 10, I got all scared at how close we are.  A week from today I should be flying.  It will be so good to see Ann again, as I last saw her in May - I know just how excited you are about seeing Gary on the 12th!

We've all traveled a lot of miles together in this journey, us March whiners and Aprilites :D I never expected to gain so many friends along the way.

It will be 6 months and a half since last time when I see Gary again... Almost 7 months when I see Jaime again (I miss that ####### of a cat we got us )... so sure I can relate.

And couldn't agree more, sharing the journey here has made things significantly more bearable for sure :D

Best of luck to you both!  I'm sure it will be just fine.  Is she scheduled early or later interview?

Been reading up on AOS from K1.  Is it really as simple as the guide makes it sound?  I know @Alysia&Luis filed it promptly after, and I am sure @Estibaliz probably already has them filled out and printed :D

From what I am reading, the evidence needed is just the Marriage License, 3 yrs of Taxes to show >125% of poverty, a NOA2, I-94, Birth Certificate, copy of whole passport, some passport pics, the vaccination record???, and the I forms 485, 864, 765, 131, 1145.  Kinda confused on the I-693 and the vaccinations part of this - but everything else looks like it is documents we already have because of doing the k1.....

Anyone else been looking this far ahead???

We have all the things ready that we need for it except the marriage stuff of course. :) We aren't filing til December though when my fiance gets his big bonus from work. :D Yay for bonuses. LOL

Well, sorry, but you are wrong this time. I've taken a quick look at the instructions to make sure I'm not forgetting to take with me anything that I might need there, and actually I'm taking care of getting a sworn translation of my birth certificate in the next days... But that's it.

Honestly, I need a break. It's hard being the beneficiary, and also having to do basically all the petitioner's work. I'm focusing more on the moving right now and then in the most practical things first, like getting a phone number, my SSN, arranging my finances... And yes, I also think I'm supposed to get married or something silly like that...

HA funny last night my fiance and I were looking at what we would need to do at AT&T to get me on a plan with him and also have a plan that has calling to Canada. :D My finances are arranged. My last 3 paycheques are staying in my bank account to pay for my canadian cell phone bill. Unfortunately I still have 15 months of my contract left with BELL MTS. However I am thinking of biting the bullet and just paying the about 250 I would owe to pay the contract out. I have an iphone SE that I use for my Bell MTS plan here in Manitoba but I will probably use my old Samsung Galaxy S4 in the states since its already unlocked. lol Eh getting married is that what we are supposed to be doing. *looks around* Oh yeah my fiance ordered our wedding rings yesterday from the jewelers I guess thats for the getting married part. LOL

It took me an hour after work today to photocopy everything I needed for the interview and a copy for ourselves as well. I told my fiance that I killed many trees today. lol
