Hi Whiners! We're almost done with our Form I-134 Affidavit of Support. But we're confused on Part 3, Question 38. What should we write on the Part 7. Additional Information question? (Indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions you intend to make)

For mine I wrote N/A - K1 Visa Process for Permanent Residence.

Pretty sure its Monday-Friday but then again who knows. :)

On a side note me and my fiance just picked out our wedding bands. Nice plain silver ones that we will get engraved. His pastor said he would marry us for free as a gift to us which is super awesome. :) We also found out we don't need witnesses so we decided to have a dinner with his friends later and then later next year in like September 2018 we will hold a party so my family can come down too and any out of state friends. :)

Wow sounds like a plan! Thats actually our plan as well. We'll get married thru a civil wedding. No need for much witnesses then we'll just have dinner with his family after. ☺️ We're planning a big wedding in my country some time in the future anyways, maybe like after a year or two, so my big family can be around on our big day 😊 I cant wait for that time to come! Omg noa2 please surprise us please 😂

I heard we can still call the Uscis even when its saturday. Theyd still answer. Oh well, we'll see tomorrow!

I agree, just was saying June is not applicable. It's that NOA1 dates that USCIS is talking about when they say "we are processing cases from January", which is March for them, so your logic still applies. It's all worthless information anyway. 1) USICS are known liars and 2) we already know there are people with NOA1 dates in January that are still waiting, which is a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting.

If my company will work like this, it will go bankrupt

There is only one appointment available for the interview and it's August 17. That's 12 days away. I wouldn't be able to make it since some of my documents including the police certificate from Australia are not ready yet. Also, I haven't even make an appointment for my medical examination.

There are no available dates on September and October. My petition expires on October. Anyone have similar experience? What about you @KULtoATL?

My visa was approved. I wrote in my timeline about the experience. Many thanks to all of you for keeping this forum alive and therefore my sanity and anxiety on the right track. Good luck!

Congrats!! And thank you for sharing!!  Did you have to have a translated birth certificate with you? Sorry I have so many questions! (since my F will be having interview in Bucharest as well) lol My F is not sure how some of his vaccines are translated in comparison to what is needed... does he need to worry about that or just not worry and get whatever is missing at the medical? Was it quick to get your interview when you scheduled it or are they booked out a ways? I guess I am wondering how long the process took once it got to Bucharest. Any info will be much appreciated!

Thank you! Feel free to message me, i will gladly answer any question as best as i can. I did not have a translated birth certificate. As long as it's in romanian. It says so on the embassy website: all documents must be translated IF they're not in english or romanian. He is bound to have a list of vaccines from highschool. It;s an old little piece of paper, that's what i had, i took it to the medical examination and they knew exactly what to do with it, i didn't have to get any extra vaccines (just a blood test - which will be done at the medical examination). If he doesn't have that vaccine piece of paper, he should ask his family doctor... they're gonna have it for sure. My file left the NVC and arrived at the embassy early July. I asked for them to schedule me at the beginning of August. I could've done it anytime. When i called the embassy, the lady said "Pick a date", then she gave me a time frame, which i can't remember. Either after 11 am or any day except Friday, something like that. So I could've had this interview done last month, but my fiance didn't send the proof of income, so i didn't want to risk having an interview and no papers. I hope this helps. I can guide you step by step if you have any questions, just message me.

Maybe they're unlocking September later. I could also pick from August interview dates only!

So it's official - the letter is NOA2.  Here is my info:

NOA1
03/31 - Received date
04/05 - Notice date

NOA2
07/31 - Notice date

Day - 127

They list the received date and NOA2 notice date on the approval and it's interesting that they're exactly four months apart.

My Case Status and apps still say received

ok now that is weird. our case was received March 30, 2017 but until now it has been 128 days and i still have not received any feedback nor NOA2

How many times we met, what does she do for work and where she lives, when are you getting married 👰

CONGRATS!!!

What was your answer about when you guys are getting married?

I'm always curious how people answer that given nobody knows the outcomes for sure, and it seems like people don't plan their weddings until after they get their visas in hand :)
