Agree that the I-751 NOA1 should definitely be accepted. For the I-9, however, if I'm not mistaken you are legally allowed to present List B+C documents instead of List A, like a State ID + Social Security Card. I guess this depends on the state but New York State gave me a State ID that's valid for 10 years. Sucks, but at least you can get around it.

I also have a drivers licence valid until 2024 and SSN, and that's usually enough. I have 3 part time jobs and only one of them seems to be really strict about the GC expiration date. Maybe because it's a college...

 

USCIS should just send out another piece of plastic with the same photo like the 2yr GC and a new expiration date temporarily while the ROC is pending. It probably costs them 3$ to produce and send it, and I'd gladly pay an extra $20 for it to make the total fee $700

Getting Ready to send Mine! My 90 day window opened on February 20th but i just got paid so...... Today's the Day! Gonna get all the paperwork ready and hopefully get it sent out today or tomorrow! I'm just worried about my job i guess, i work at a big company and I've seen someone get fired over an expired green card, so i hope they understand everything about the 1 year extension and don't give me any issues, it would really suck, I'm even up for a promotion :-(

I literally just opened a new bank account and got approved for a credit card, and started a new freelance role with mine about to expire, noone seemed to care.
