For the checks/money order: we sent two checks, one for $595 and another one for $85 because we interpreted it this way from the instructions. Most people on here seem to just send one check and it seems to be fine either way. Anyway, we made "Exhibit A: Two checks for $595 and $85, Form I-751 and copies of green card" (the stuff that's "required") and once I had assembled the exhibit with the cover page, I-751 and copies of green card, I put two more binder clips, one on each side of the cover page, holding one check (vertical) in front of the cover page on each side so they wouldn't be missed. Put this in the pouch with only the cover letter in front. Seems to have worked.

We just mailed our I-751, should arrive tomorrow by 3pm. Here's hoping no RFEs for any of us! Glad to have you guys to wait with.

One (silly) thing I noticed is that as far as I knew NOAs were supposed to be printed on normal printer paper starting in 2012, as explained here. The one for my I-130 (from NSC) definitely was the non-fancy version. My NOA for the I-751 is printed on this very fancy color paper that shows DHS seals when you look at it in the light. I wonder if VSC never ran out of these papers or just stumbled upon a really old box.  Of course these are still valid so it's not an issue, but I thought it was strange. At least I guess the original looks a little more official?

In case someone will send package on Friday. From my experience, I sent package on last Friday with USPS EXPRESS MAIL and signature requested. USCIS California Centre received my package on Monday with signature.

Hi, it's still early in March and very few of us have filed at all so no, I don't think so. I think most of us are just getting our extension letters if anything. I'll keep an eye on the mailbox but I'm not expecting to receive anything in the next two weeks.

We're sending ours off tomorrow and I'm wondering: how and where did you include your check/money order? The whole thing is assembled with ACCO fasteners but I'm thinking maybe I should put the money order on the very top with a paper clip instead?

I mailed our package on March 9th and still haven't gotten any proof that the CSC has received it. Check has not been cashed. Anyone else still waiting from March 9th? Going to wait one more day then begin to panic...green card expires on 3/23. Would have mailed the package much earlier but my wife was unexpectedly out of the country for the last month plus.

When was it actually delivered? If you *mailed* it March 9 (Thursday) it's too early to panic, even tomorrow. I assume at the very earliest it would have been delivered Friday. There was a weekend in the middle and it's only Monday.

 

Give it a couple days. Even in the worst case scenario if there's anything wrong with the check or a signature missing and it gets returned, it will show that you tried to file on time. Keep an eye on it but don't panic.

We sent ours and it was received at the CSC on March 9th. Have not received any confirmations nor has check been cashed.

It's hard to estimate time........some people get it within a week or couple days other have waited longer
