Scheduling of an interview can generally take under a month to 4+ months. Some embassies are really over packed and don't have interview dates available. I recall reading a post here about a month ago about somebody from Riyadh waiting over 3 months just to get an open interview date from the embassy. That said, they do not have to process your case within 4 months. The 4 months is just the expiration for the underlying I-129F petition. The embassy should extend this by another 4 months if you keep it active (or auto extend it if it's waiting on something from them).

Yeah, we're expecting a long wait with Montreal.  We're hoping that it will go quickly, but we have heard it can take over four months to schedule an interview.  They're pretty overbooked.

Will make copy of it , it was based on  2015 , think will have my bank make a letter with current accounts balance and last years bank deposits, just in case. I am under assumption as Nvc forwarded the whole application to .embassy, but who knows? yes K1

Our case has a recieved date of Nov 3rd

They started working on Nov 22nd, slowed down, then stopped. This appears to be the same situation for Now 3rd.

Lets pray they get back to our received dates next week. I especially hope they get to Nov 3rd. This is an unbelievable process. ??

Hello MenaMariel,

If you do decide to call them, could you share your experience with me either through here or PM me?
We've been waiting over 120 days, I called them after about 115 days (last friday) and all they said to me was that I am in normal processing time because "they are working on September 16th cases".

When is your NOA1 date?

My NOA1 date is Nov 7.  I called today and got the same result as you did.  They did mention they can expedite in emergency situations.  I thought about claiming it as an emergency, but then thought otherwise. :)

It is a standard response , hear it many times before . Reality is that we are on their messy, and there is not much can be done about it. Just lot of patience, it will get done.

Hello November and December filers. Day "95", I wake up to text my fiance a good morning only to get "CASE IS APPROVED" in return. She was crying, i didn't know how to react. I just congratulated her. You guys are the immediate next set of people who I am sharing this with. A constant source of support, strength, information and most of all hope is what this group is.

I sincerely pray all those remaining get quickly approved.
