I might have done my dates wrong, but our received date is 11/28/16.  I haven't seen the letter my fiance got so I'm not aware of the other date.

Do I count today as my NOA2 date when updating my timeline?

The mvr number is the actual receipt number u give when u paid ur visa in the bank. It normally takes 3 to 4 hours before u can enter that number

You could also always try to call the other number: 1-603-334-0888, which is the non-immigrant line. Because the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intent, it is processed like a hybrid visa, so you can use both phone numbers. I have only ever called the -0888 line and I have been able to get information about my case every time I call. 

 

By the way you should NOT get a busy signal when you call. You should have an automated voice who has you press 1 if you want to speak to someone, then it just plays the on-hold music until someone answers. If you call in the middle of the day in the US you should expect to be on hold from 1-20 minutes. If you wait until later than 7 PM East Coast Time (they are open until 12 midnight east coast time) then you should be on hold only about 1 minute. Good luck!

Just a share of toughts. For all the people who is calling NVC or to US. You can download an app called TEXTNOW.COM and calling in US is FREE.

 

For future credits. Just watch a video and they wil give you minutes for free. So u dont have to pay international calls or using any phone cards. Its a waste of money.

Make sure you call them monday-friday 7am-12am eastern time

You can register now. Ive been calling like you guys everyday but i am unlucky. I registered at ask nvc when i got my no2 and they are the one who send it in my email.

Hi S&D,

From whatever I've seen and read so far, i dont think it should've ideally taken this long. Usually takes 2-3 weeks max. 

I suggest you call NVC and check.

Edit - You may also call CSC and verify when you case was mailed to NVC.
