I have no idea!  I'm guessing no, since they only count business days? But I can be wrong.

I think the 5-7 month wait (more 7 than 5 ) is the indeed the most frustrating part of the process.

I really, really hope you get to expedite your case. And I am sending all my love and hugs for your family and your son!

Thanks so much! I called today to make the request. They said they will contact me in about 5 days for proof and then will make a decision. Hopefully they approve it!

PD August 9.

Igor's list now August 16.

USCIS as of December 31 covered up to August 2.

Okay, so what are you waiting for Nebraska?!

Seriously?! It takes two whole effing months, January & February, to approve cases from August 2 to August 9, or 16 (currently showing updates according to Igor's list)...

Please God do something. I can't bare it, all this waiting (patiently) and everything is slowly killing me.

It doesn't seem fair or right that they are so behind in updating their web page it's the least they can do that they are still updating from December 31st. It's a black hole and frustrating beyond bel when people's lives are at stake! What rights do the "people" have who are trying to come here legally. It is so inconsistent and obviously not all workers are equal in the pace that they work....ugh

At Nebraska it is really all about luck...

I think that the cases are assigned in groups to different workers, and each worker goes at a different pace. So fast workers start approving cases further ahead while the slow ones are stuck on cases from past dates. It could also have to do with the complexity of the case and the experience of the worker, so many things could factor into why they skip around. I know the cases right before and right after my case number were approved a couple of weeks before my case was, but there is no way to know exactly why they happened to skip over my case. I just know that it meant that my case would be approved soon when I saw activity around my case. I realize there are still cases before mine that have not been approved, so really all I can say is it comes down to luck.
