Yes I agree! So happy someone was approved with everything occurring in the US. Even my job is on hold- our refugee program has been suspended for 120 days. I was scared the I130s would be affected in length of time because of all that is going on!! Congrats to you and your spouse :) For the rest of us, I guess its still a waiting game.

Yes it's pretty rough. But I was able to travel to the US and currently am here visiting. I'm hoping there was some sort of way to expedite this so I can be there closer to the due date.

I have been tracking random cases through the Case Tracker app and seeing some movement in September 30 range at Potomac.

Unfortunately, USCIS does not look at pregnancy as a reason to expedite a case. :(

I sent an expedite request, and documents from three doctors, documenting my history of C-PTSD - the doctors all wrote of the urgency to get my husband here to the states. My request was denied, even after a request for a second review by my U.S. Senator.

At least you are able to visit your wife...that's a good thing. :)

So we got our receipt of our I 130! WOO HOO!

It gives me our receipt number and our priority date, as well as the received date (Dec 22, 2016). We got put into the Potomac as well!

I'm actually headed down to New Zealand to wait for a while with my Kiwi husband because our lawyers say it will take about a year or more overall to get everything finalized.

SUCH. A long time. But hey, it gets him here in the next couple years which we will take!

Good luck all!

@arsalk thanks, took a look at both and it looks about right, the USCIS says it is processing June 2nd applications.... so 6mths out. Luckily I have a job teaching English online so I can live in Macedonia with my husband (working on my extended visa for here at the moment)... When we were at the embassy earlier to get paperwork for our civil ceremony they said interview date were 6mths out as well. So at least a year...

Really you teach online? What company are you working for? I'm working for TutorAbc right now but the pay is awful..
