With interviews being scheduled for 2017 will they require to see new tax information?  I don't think I made enough in 2015 to sponsor my husband alone but looking at my last check stub of this year, I met the requirements to sponsor him.  Will they consider this at the interview do you guys think?

Do you mean 2016 tax information? They won't ask for that information until the tax deadline in April.

Only if your interview is after April 15th, which is when taxes are due.

You can always bring updated info to the interview though and ask them to select you as a sole sponsor instead if they are able.

you might have to start threatening them like I did. I just got my interview date for my wife yesterday. See if you can get congress involved its ridiculous how they have been acting. It does not really take long to get an interview because they email it to you.

Missileman, we have the same supervisor review date.

Our scan date was 11/7, supervisor review 12/21.

Your're right, this is hell.  I had myself psyched up for NVC to be the easy part.  It's more like a never-ending torment.

My husband and I had a long discussion last night about what this process is doing us and what long term effects it might have on our relationship.  I don't know how couples survived this process before things like skype  and facetime.

I had so wanted to go into the new year with closure from nvc.

I was just wasting my time on new year's eve looking at my case status; I found some of the cases received on the same day are ready for interview after 15 days of case creation; who are these lucky people.

I was following rules to identify case creation date and sequence:

There some rude hard head works at nvc.

I hate when they say they are sorry and it could take upto 6 weeks to review. This nvc is totally a waste and irresponsible agency.

BTW, I have been reading lots and lots of VJs comments of all sort related to this whole process of applying at USCIS to NVC.

My scan date is November 8th, I have put in supervisory review since December 21st. Anyhow, I was really hoping for a CC before the end of this year but I guess not.

I will update my profile as I go. Good Luck Everyone and happy new year.

Good morning everyone and good evening to all those Stateside.

I just called NVC to ask about my scan date. The rep said 12/29.

So, when should I begin calling to check the status of my case... after two weeks and once every two weeks from then? Or just wait till 6 weeks has completed to call and  ask?

Happy New Year. Best of luck to everyone going into the new year.
