Hey everyone! Just to let you know I'm at day 96 and I did a service request on January 30th, had an answer on February 6th saying that my case in under review and I should get a notice shortly. Personnally I don't think it speeds the process, I still don't have any news and it starts to be long! I contacted the congresswoman in my city but no news either for now.

Day 94 for me!!! Stay strong !

We have similar timelines, I filed on November 3rd, they received the package on the 7th and still no news as well.

I received the same response via email after submitting the service request and it doesn't seem moving. I hope we will hear something next week!

Hey Good news actually! I didn't get an update but I just checked and now new card is being produced! It didn't change this morning so it probably just changed now!

I am so so happy!!!

Congratulations! great to hear that. I haven't been successful in my job search. Would you mind sharing what field/position you applied for?

I applied for a managerial position. 1 was in a hotel and 1 was in the housing facility in a university. Both of them are willing to wait until I heard from USCIS. I haven't gotten a job offer yet I guess because of my current situation they don't want to commit since I don't have an exact date as to when I can start working.

Yesss! Great news here, as well! My status changed for: New card is being produced :):) But only for employment  authorization, the other one - Travel authorization - is still "case was received"  is that normal? Am I gonna get both cards?

They received my documents on November 7th / Biometrics on December 14th.

Hi guys,

I've been a silent reader for some time now, and this thread has really helped me a lot through this long process. I just wanted to post my timeline for those who are still waiting.

I submitted I-485, I-130, and I-765 on Nov 14, my NOA date is November 26.

Biometrics we're done on December 20 2016.

My I-485 status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview on December 28. And my EAD changed to card is being produced today February 10. :)

I wanted to let everybody know that I got the letter from the DMV today and my lawful presence is verified. Yayyy! So tomorrow I'll go take the written test :D

This means that the NOA1 from AOS is an accepted document! Cause my i-94 is expired and I haven't yet gotten my EAD. I should have done this ages ago, instead of worrying so much.

Lucky you...NYS DMV wants that SSN or a letter from the Social security administration saying hubby is ineligible

Thank you for this!  I took my husband to the Ohio BMV today and they accepted his passport, SS card, and NOA1 not a question asked.  He will be driving soon and is very happy.

I wasn't going to even try it until he got his EAD until I saw your post yesterday.

Congrats hun!

Changing the topic entirely...

Can anyone who received EAD approval in the past week or two let us know how quickly after they received the first email saying a card is being produced did they get the email that the card was actually mailed? Just curious. Thanks!

I don't post for 24 hours and the thread goes to hell. :) I'm not going to comment on individual posts. I'm just going to shake my head and hope the thread returns normal.  93 days from AOS Package acceptance. 81 Days from NOA1. There will be a service request in our near future if we don't hear from them soon.

Right! lol

I came back just to update a few things and was like damn! lol

Anyway, hoping things come in soon for you. I remember our dates being pretty close with yours. :D

Today we contacted our congressman office to try and expedite my EAD based on a job offer. The lady was very nice and sent us a information privacy form to fill in as well as a form to give a brief description of my case and asked me to attach my job offer letter. She then let us know that she had received our files and that she will be in touch if she needs anything else. I will update as it happens. Just incase anyone else is going to try and expedite :)

Hi how did you contact your congressman? My husband and I are thinking about doing the same thing but has no clue where to start. I have few job interviews but no job offer yet but would like to get my EAD sooner. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey! Its pretty simple really, just find out who your congressman is and go onto there website and they should have an office contact number and call them up and explain the situation :)

Sorry this might sound dumb but how where able to find their number? Just googled it? Is there a specific website that you type in and then search for the congressman? I'm sorry I really don't have any clue!
