I will keep you up to date!

Does anyone have good experience getting help from constituent advocates?

I contacted them after our case was stuck for 2 months between USCIS and NVC.

Our case was send to NVC same day I contact senator's office.

She has been following on up our case and was going to email NVC yesterday.

My hubby and I are praying that soon we will get CC.

I have a question about scan dates. I sent my documents to NVC overnight and they were delivered there today. I have not filled out form DS260 yet, as I'm still waiting for it to unlock.

What is considered the scan date? When they received those documents? Or when everthing is filled out and they open package and enter the info?

The date they log your documents into the system. Usually a couple of days after they receive them.

I was told by the rep that once the last document is entered that would complete the file is scanned that would be the scan date. So in your case the DS260 will be the last document.

EX: On 11/3/2016 your packets were received.

you complete the ds-260 on 11-6-2016 This will be the scan date

so in other words all documents and fees must be in to trigger a scan date..

Thats incorrect. The scan date is the date that NVC scans your document that you mailed to them into their system.

It has nothing to do with when the DS-260 is filled out and or fees paid.
