Viewers of tonight’s debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump who decide to drink every time Trump tells a lie could very well die of alcohol poisoning, according to the US Surgeon General.

After the series of “clown car debates” of 2012, an average of 70,000 additional alcohol poisoning related incidents occurred. Due to the frequently untrue nature of Trump’s comments, first responders are bracing for a potentially more disastrous incident tonight. According to Politico, Trump lied every three minutes and 15 seconds throughout a five day period from Sept. 15 – Sept 20.

Medical professionals found themselves in a similar situation last year, before the GOP primary debates. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said “We are anticipating record levels of alcohol poisoning… all across the country, as Americans engage in drinking games while they watch the debate. We can’t impress enough on people about the danger of mixing alcohol and watching the GOP debates, especially with the field the Republicans are giving us this year.”

Given the candidate they ultimately chose, the potential for fabrications tonight are higher than ever.

I knew about this Alicia person before; I remember reading an article about how she just got citizenship and was going to enjoy not voting for Trump. It's odd he was surprised by this; but I guess he (self-admittedly) doesn't read any newspapers.

The picture of Trump that Fox uses on that video has to be 20 years old. Anything to make him look better than he is.

He will need to slim down if he wants to appear on Dancing with the Stars as a comeback.

I'm curious about the latest polls. Everyone seems to be saying Trump lost the debate but there seems to be a bit of a rumble that he may be polling better today (as if he won).

For the record, I did NOT watch the debate. I was too busy watching my Cardinals self destruct last night to the Reds.

CNN and PPP had standard polls based on folks who watched the debate. They were not self selecting or game able polls. Both broke seriously for Hillary.

Seems like the clue less political "experts" on vj have missed the boat again. Surprise surprise. Trump may not have "won" on political points, but he never got blown out and he showed he can go toe to toe with her. Pretty good for someone who has never been elected before. He is still in the race and it is just a small percentage of undecided voters who will determine this election.

Clinton had a smirk that was not to appealing to undecided voters. In the big picture Trump won. Undecideds usually just vote for the person they like better. Clinton is hard to like on a personal level.
