Hi ..i need some help i m pragnent green card holder and i want to invite my mother in usa.my mother has permanent residence card of uk.she lives in uk.plz can anybody tell me how to apply her visa .

You want her to come for a visa? She must apply for a visitor visa at the US embassy in London. There's nothing you can do that will help her case, she must apply on her own merits.

As mentioned, she applies for the visa, there is nothing you do. She will need to show strong ties to the UK, reasons she will return after seeing you and the baby.

Your mother will have to prove to the satisfaction of the US consular official at the interviewing US embassy/consulate, that she has significant ties to the UK such that she will return to the UK after her US visit is completed. Such ties could include, property, house ownership, current stable employment, etc. Each visitor visa applicant is presumed to have immigration intent, and must prove that they are not trying to immigrate to the US. A letter from a doctor, any documents from you, or any other invitation-type letter would likely have no positive effect on the visitor visa approval.

You’ll need prior authorisation to enter the United States using a British passport, either through a visa, a Permanent Resident Card, or the Visa Waiver Programme.

Does she have a British passport?

she has to apply herself for visa or visa waiver.

Usually letter of invitation does not help if she is also citizen of Pakistan

She needs to apply by herself; she can mention that the reason is to be there during the birth and meet her new granddaughter.

The main thing is to shoe her ties to her home country, ie the UK where she ,lives- reasons she will go back home after having visited.

My Pakistani MIL just received a 5 year visit visa to see my husband and I in the US. She interviewed in Islamabad and it was very easy. They had openings to interview starting a couple of days after she paid the fee. The interview took 5 minutes. They asked who was calling her to the US and asked about her other children. That was it and she was approved...took about a week after the interview to have passport/visa in hand. I am not sure how your mother's interview will go in the UK, but as long as she has strong ties there hopefully she can get approved. Congrats on your pregnancy. I hope your mother will be able to come visit you.

Yes, I am well aware of that. A UK citizen interviewing in London for a visit visa (if they aren't using VWP for some reason) will also probably not experience the same interview as a Pakistani citizen interviewing in London. I was trying to give her some insight on how the interview may go as there didn't seem to be any Pakistani's that were sharing info about recent interviews in London.
