Comments : Got an RFE to submit 10yr GC they sent in error. Card was returned to USCIS with the I-90 as required in 2015. Now we're just in limbo. They won't process I-751 until they get the card, but we don't have it anymore as USCIS had it and lost it. Gov't has literally screwed up every step of our process. So frustating. Got combo interview with N400

Embassy Review : My fiancé had his interview today. All went okay, but of course has been put in AP.

Here's how the interview went:

Are you married?
How did we meet?
You haven't known each other long. (I don't understand this bcz we have proof of knowing each other since 2012)
Asked for our photos and my fiancé's passport (but didn't want to see any of the proof we had regarding ongoing relationship)
Asked if I had converted to Islam (yes)
Asked if I pray
Asked why I converted (My fiancé then gave him a copy of my Shahada showing I had converted long before I met him and didn't just convert for him.)
Asked why I had changed my name (kind of odd IMO since it was changed over 25 years ago and is irrelevant)
Have you ever been arrested?
Where is your police report (My fiancé stated he mailed it in as requested to the Embassy. CO checked and found it)

They had him go back out to the waiting room for over 2 hours. Everyone had interviewed and left when they finally came back out and handed him the green AP slip.

My fiancé said the man was nice, but really didn't get a feel for how the interview went as there were a few not so standard questions asked.
Rating : Moderate

Local US CIS Office Review: Phoenix AZ

Event Description
Review Date : November 4, 2014
Embassy Review : Our interview went relatively well. Appointment was on 11/3 @ 1:55. Got in about 30 min late. Gentleman was very nice and asked very simple questions like address, do you have any children, how did you meet, etc. He asked us if we brought any supporting documents. He ended up keeping a few pages of pics, bank statements, cable bills, proof from work showing we are on the same insurance and each others beneficiaries. He then said he couldn't approve us today bcz he didn't have our medical report which apparently was lost at the port of entry. So we are now having to redo the medical exam in order to adjust. Very frustrating, but not the local office's fault. Exam will be re-done tomorrow and we're hoping to get AOS approval soon!
Harassment Level : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
