My priority date is July 11th; 113 days and counting. Good luck getting your money back from the attorney. Most attorney's do not give refunds. You should consider filing a bar complaint with your state bar. He has to give you copy of your file and any originals minus his work product.

thank you, nicmel16

i will do as u advise. after my small claims is done i file with the state bar so my complaint will include its disposition.

i actually was thinking to just let him have all the money but some people encouraged me to do it, so i will try and not regret not having tried at all.

very sly kind esp. that i know the ethical standards lawyers have to comply with.

thanks for your kind thoughts and advice. very appreciated, nicmel.

hope we both are approved soon to end the anxieties:) take care you two.

  • 2 weeks later...

No not yet, applied 13 July and it's in Nebraska, but we're expecting something in about a month i guess. Forum suggests that they are processing up to the 12 June at the moment.

Hello all.

PD is 28th July just wondering if any july filer (Nebraska) has goten Noa 2 yet.

I don't think so. My PD is July 25th. I think we still have long way to go. They are still working on June fillers and some of the July fillers got transferred to different service center about 2 weeks ago. I'm very concerned about our PD (5 MONTHS) falls on Christmas week. I hope it won't affect our case deadline.

Any news?

I was hoping to see progress in your forum as I am a August filer ..... I am guessing you will get passed in Jan and I will be Feb or Mar if lucky as an IR-1 ....could it be any slower?

I say Jan as I expect the USCIS staff have their office, department, center location, State admin and National Christmas parties to attend so little time to work on more than 3 cases with all that "departmental" commitment to be fulfilled before the Holidays ....

I was hoping to see progress in June's filer as I'm a July filer but I hardly see any movement there . I agree with you prediction though. Hopefully, it doesn't get delay anymore than that.
