Hi,

Yesterday I paid the green card fee of 165$ on the ELIS website, I keep login to my account and it still show no data available ? I put the same email address as requested and got the confirmation in the end that the fee has been paid ?

Should I contact them or is this normal ?

Thanks

Ok so had my interview yesterday in London, and just want to write about the experience.

My interview was at 1:30 but got to embassy at 12 and they let me through. I got a number and sat down in the waiting area. Then my number was called and went to a window they asked for my ds260, police report and birth certificate. And that is it. The lady said when do you planning on flying and I said next week. I then went back to sit down in the waiter no area.

Waited about an hour and then my number got called again. I went to the window and she asked who is the beneficiary ? How did we meet? What all the countries I have lived in? And then she said ok all is done approved. So all in all in was probably the easiest part of this whole process. Now just waiting for my passport back.

Hey, congrats to you! :star:

Just a question: You said they were asking for the DS-260. Do you mean the confirmation page or the entire application? As far as i know it´s just the confirmation page they wanna see, right?

Sorry but they are right. If they are done scheduling for now then yes, the next round of scheduling will happen in a few weeks (end of June) and it will be for the month of August. Only way you would get a July interview is if someone cancels and a July spot opens up. I wouldn't hold my breath too much for that though.

but this would be for that specific embassy correct?

When they say they are done scheduling do they mean done with every single embassy. For example, my CC is May, 31. SDO embassy has scheduled june interviews only right now. July interviews are not posted online. Could it be that they are in the process of scheduling july or will the information above also apply. ?

Just curious

I would suggest you take a letter from your employer showing your 2016 expected income, as well as every paystub since January 1, 2016! That would certainly show that you can support your spouse!

Sukie in NY

Yes, thank you Sukie! That's what my lawyer said to do and I did that for that NVC part as well. I included a letter from my employer as well as pay stubs so I'll make sure my husband has that and the additional pay stubs for the interview!
