Read carefully again. Is NVC asking you to send it to them with a cover sheet they provided or does it say to bring it to the embassy on the interview day?

Question: I am assuming a CERTIFICATE OF CONDUCT is a Police certificate. Is that correct?

how do you print out chat history like whatapp and viber? <_<

For whatsapp on iphone (not sure if its different for android)!you open the chat you want to print, click on the date/time at top of chat, this brings up contact/media info of the person your chatting with, go all the way to the bottom where it says email Chat, click that, then follow the prompts. It will email a text file to you that you can print.

Hope this helps!

Hi guys.I have a quick question. In the P4 or interview Letter, they ask us a new Tax return information. So i have to file my 2015 tax asap. Which status do i have to choose. Single or married. I'm confused guys. Any help.

OK - first of all - can you please show us the EXACT wording on your P4 letter? It's very confusing wording, I know. But it is very unusual for them to ask for Tax Info for this year since it's not due until April.

You may not have to file your 2015 taxes yet - so please show us what the letter says.

If you are the USC, then you must file "Married". Since your spouse was not with you in 2015, the EASIEST way to file is to file "Married, Filing Separately (MFS). After your spouse gets to the US and gets a SSN, then you can amend your tax return to "Married, Filing Jointly" (MFJ).

This is not your only option, but if you are required to file, it's the fastest.

I'm actually betting you don't have to file yet....

So excited to have you hear girl. Welcome to the group. We crazy up in here.!! :dancing::goofy:

Case Complete email will come 7 days after Case Complete so 2/9. Than when you are scheduled an interview the P4. That's all you get.

Seems the P4 is coming in 2 to 4 days. It's not instant.

I haven;t seen anyone get interviews yet for Canada so they probably still scheduling. So hang on.

Guess that means I will have to start harassing our lawyer again to make sure he sends us that email! lol

So I am getting some of our documents ready in anticipation of my husbands interview. For all travel receipts, cards, phone chats etc, do you also need to make copies of them as well so we have 2 sets or just bring what we have and not bother making copies of that stuff? Of course everything the embassy asks for birth cert, marriage license etc we will have originals and copies.

Thank you!!!

Hi Sukie this is what NVC says" Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

I think that this is like a general statment everyone gets this on the P4 , alsp the most recent federal income tax return refers to the 2014 .

This paragraph is standard on all P4 letters and means these two things:

1. If the interview is after April 15th, then you should bring updated 2015 tax info, because you lawfully have to have filed your 2015 returns by April 15th.

2. If the sponsor (any of the sponsors!) filed an extension for 2014, and your original AOS did not have completed 2014 tax returns, then bring updated 2014 tax returns.

You are way too early in the year to be required to file 2016 tax returns. Most people haven't even gotten all their 1099s yet. I know I haven't gotten all of mine yet!

I will also mention that our AOS was approved on April 15th and we were NOT required to bring tax returns to our July 1st interview.

Good luck!
