Comments : Wrote my review when I was extremely tired. And thought of some other things I should of included.
*. The consulate allows your spouse to come to the interview.
* Be prepared to wait at least 2 hours to be called
* You'll get a folder from the front desk with a list- they want the documents placed in order of the list. Remove documents from envelopes and paper clips and lay flat in the folder.
* when called to window 1, the woman at the counter will ask for each document individually, as per your P4 letter. Btw, she's nice, sort of parent like.
* Good thing about Trinidad is that they will let you submit any new evidence of relationship at window 1, so the CO sure will have a chance to look at it beforehand.
* After window 1, the 2 hour wait begin, before the actual meeting with the CO
*Didnt see any 'official' looking CO in uniform - the guy who did our interview was similing and friendly. It seemed that the decision was already made before the interview. I think it's important to submit as much evidence of relationship with every step in the process.

Consulate Review: Trinidad & Tobago
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : February 23, 2016
Embassy Review : Well, our appointment was St 9am but we arrived an hour or so earlier. We waited outside until they let us in at 8:30. At about 8:45 we were called to window 1. This is where they collect all the required paperwork and take fingerprints. The woman at the window was fairly nice. We had everything she asked for ready. Then she asked if we wanted to submit Andy new evidence of relationship. We had pics, texts, credit card statements collected post NVC. My husband was given a pamphlet on domestic violence, and we we told to wait in the waiting room to be called.

We then, waiting and hour and 45 minutes for our interview. Lasted about 5 minutes or less. He clearly had already decided before we got to the window. My husband was sworn in. They took fingerprints again. It was a male CO, extremely friendly. He asked my husband when we got married, how did we met, where we got married and who was at the wedding. He asked me where I lived and what I did for a living.

With that he said we were approved and give my husband a white sheet with DHL information.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
