One also can't ignore that a large number of those in the Clintons' circle ended up disgraced, in jail, or dead. A man (or a harpy) is known by the company (s)he keeps.

You can call her a harpy if you want. I'm disputing the assertion the she is a criminal. Let's see if there is an indictment first. I would prefer the tried and true innocent until proven guilty approach. And I prefer a court of law, over a court of public opinion. Time will tell.

I agree. I also do not think that either Cruz or Rubio are electable on a nationwide platform. So we're right back to Hillary.

Cause she is soooo electable.

One would think that the presence of a blonde would be a reason to show up.

Hey tell Trump that!

Boo-hoo! Maybe if you could see beyond the end of your nose, you might be able imagine the benefits of not anchoring loads of debt around the necks of graduating students. Also, new Americams who graduate overseas, why is it fair that they don't start off with student loans, while Americans do? I have seen lots of people complain about US companies who like to import computer programmers from countries like India, so they can pay them less.

I have no problem with creating a system where people can go to school for free or near free. I don't think we should take on the burden of paying off past loans. More to the point I don't want to pay for the 60,000 dollar mistake you made going to university of phoenix or the 400,000 in loans my friend took on becoming a lawyer - Helping these past loans really means we will be taxing people more to give checks directly to the banks who are on the hook for the loans right?

She should suggest how to fix the problem going forward, suggesting fixing past problems is pandering for votes plain and simple.

I don't see were you are going linking the whole US companies importing IT workers - Are you suggesting that if schools are free that we should be paid less so there won't be a need to outsource? Or are you saying there will not be a shortage or workers from all the free schooling so companies won't need to look elsewhere? Before answering that remember Microsoft testified before congress that they needed more H-1B visas because they could not find qualified workers in the US the very same week they announced 80,000 layoffs..

someone who doesn't have crippling student loan debt can afford to be paid less at entry level in their field.

If I am wrong about Trump in Iowa..and I may be...that will be a game changer for American politics.

TBoneTX I predict that Ted Cruz will win the "Hawkeye Cauci," perhaps big.

Re Jan 3 predictions: So we were both right , Trump did not pull in delegates in line with the polls, although higher than expected and Cruz did win. New Hampshire is not a caucus state, Trumps results should be more inline with his poll, but I still have questions about his get out the vote machine ability in New Hampshire and South Carolina.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

True, though I would hope our goal from making higher education free isn't to lower starting salaries.

well no, that isn't sustainable either. school should be free because we don't want only rich children to go to college. why should someone take on $200,000 worth of debt to go to college to say..be a teacher and start out at $30,000? or spend the same amount on a stem degree and not even find a job in their field - end up working at target as a inventory specialist making 20,000 a year? for someone coming from meager beginnings the loans are easy to get but the jobs not so much. there is something to be said of the affluent's social network, how they can pay for their kid's college and hit up old college buddies to get them in the door with their businesses. poor kids with a degree have debt and a super competitive job market. if they end up with even lower salaries, we're just going to have an entire generation that never comes close to meeting their potential, doesn't have kids, doesn't own homes or anything, really.

Cause she is soooo electable.

In the US on a national scale at the current moment she is the most electable candidate out there on either side. She attracts a large chunk of the moderate vote and that is what is going to win this election. There aren't any Republican candidates that do and neither does Sanders. (sorry Val)

that's just tbone's misogyny showing, he's in good company around here...

Took a good look at Fiorina earlier, and favored a candidatette (candidatess?) last cycle.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You can talk about the Clinton's extra curricular activities all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that Bill was one of the best Presidents in our lifetime. He's the only President since LBJ and Eisenhower to operate with a balanced budget and the economy was doing pretty darn good at that time as well.

I don't believe it is criminal nonsense. It looks like she has committed a crime. This doesn't mean she will ever be convicted for it, since Bush wasn't and his crime was far more severe than hers.

Newfound respect for Bernie being against capital punishment. I find state-sanctioned killing of people except during wartime utterly reprehensible. I also love the fact his net worth is one that many middle classers have achieved, even if we go with a figure twice as high (which I've seen).

I truly think Hillary is in this for status. So is Trump. they want it as a feather in their cap. I don't believe either of them really care about the people they claim to care about. For them this is power, an accolade, a memoir.
