Hi crew,

So here's the latest this week -

12/14/2015 - Case # Assigned[/size]

12/15/2015 - Submit DS261[/size]

12/16/2015 - Paid AOS[/size]

12/16/2015 - Validated DS261[/size]

12/17/2015 - Sent AOS/IV Pkg overnight by Fed-Ex[/size]

12/17/2015 - Received Agent Assigned Email and IV Invoice[/size]

12/17/2015 - Paid IV Fee[/size]

As of today, AOS Fee is showing Not Paid (did show in process the day I paid it) but it is showing pending in my bank account today and I called twice and both said it's in process on their end. IV Fee showing in process, assuming tomorrow or Monday it will show pending from my bank. [/size]

How long til the DS-260 opens for me to submit? When will the NVC begin to scan my AOS/IV Package if it arrives there tomorrow morning with the following above so far completed? [/size]

Thank you all! So excited right now - oddly the best early Xmas present ever being able to pay the $445 this week lol. [/size]

that was fairly fast ! 3 days of fun fun fun ! i remember the olden days, those timeticks taking almost 6 weeks for my month/year group.

Has anyone from Potomac with NOA2 near Dec 1st had their case received by the NVC. I feel so stressed out becauae i miss my husband so much. The NVC still hasnt recieved anything.

I got approved from potomac on Dec 11th ,still waiting. They don't update their website therefore we don't receive any notification. You can call usics tier 2 officer and ask if your case was sent to nvc. I'm gonna give myself one week if they don't receive it I will call uscis first. Keep me posted.

Uscis sent my petition Mon 14, 2015 and the NVC received it yesterday Thur 17, 2015! But they say it could take 42 days to enter into the system. I only hope it doesn't take that long.

It's been taking around 20 days from receiving to case number and invoice number.

They received my case Nov 25, assigned the numbers either Dec 11 or Dec 14 (was a weekend and Rep wasn't clear which day).

Married in Barbados: June 10 2015

***USCIS***

Jul 20 2015: Lawyer Mailed I-130 Packet to Chicago lockbox

Aug 7 2015: I-130 NOA1 (California!!!)

Nov 17 2015: I-130 approved (102 days since NOA1)

***NVC***

Nov 25 2015: NVC received our file

Dec 11 2015: NVC case # assigned

Dec 14 2015: AOS & IV billed (same time as we have lawyer)

Dec 14 2015: Received email with case number and invoice number

Dec 15 2015: Paid AOS & IV Fees

Dec 20 2015: Fees show as "paid".

Dec 20 2015: Email expedite request (financial & medical)

Dec 31 2015: Email from NVC. EXPEDITE APPROVED!

Jan 8 2016: Mailed AOS & IV packets

Jan 11 2016: Packets delivered to NVC & marked "in transit" to consulate!

Jan 12 2016: CEAC status "READY"!

Jan 14 2016: DHL tracking shows file" delivered"

Jan 16 2016: Appointment letter (pkt4) Feb 16!!!

Feb 9 2016: Medical

Feb 16 2016: Interview/Approved!!!!

Feb 17 2016: Issued!

Feb 29 2016: POE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Together! <3

Just called the NVC. after 4 days my papers are still not there from Chicago.

And they told me that the estimated time to look at a case is now 30-40 up from 14-21 days.

This is be curse they get tons of mail right now.

But once they scan the papers in the system, there will be a email shortly after.

I received an email today letting me know. The weird thing was we did electronic processing, and there were no other issues with missing documents. Not sure why it was just the marriage termination document... emailed it again to them, so hopefully they get it this time and no more issues.
