Soooo call NVC, they said my 3 cases are complete BUT they have to do something else (the girl said something about scanning documents) did you hear something like this ever before?

When I gave her my first case # she said that it was completed but they were waiting for the other cases to complete, when she checked the other 2 she said they where completed also. Maybe they have to link the three "Case completed"?

Happy either way, it seems our papers are moving.

Hey Pumpita.

Nice to hear ur case complete. congrats. I got a checklist to for filling I-864 a wrong. I put my moms name instead of mine in sponsor. I have send it already. how long it trakes for them to review?? could you give me timeframe if u know??

Mind if I ask how soon after you sent in your original paperwork did you get a checklist? I'm on day 15 no checklist so far. And, your checklist come by email?

Thanks in advance

I believe every case is different. In my case we have to resend the Birth certificates and Marriage certificates and, for my daughters the i864w. We sent the papers by email on Dec. 4th and today they are saying something like case complete. The checklist arrived within 23 days of the first scan date.

Thank you all for your help! One more question - on the I-864, if there are no interpreters or additional information - do I still need to send in pages 6 and 7 if they're fully blank?

Gonna get this out today and overnight it! Thanks guys!

I believe you should send all forms even if they don't apply to you, otherwise the NVC will think they are missing. If they don't apply to you just write N/A (do not leave them empty)

I know the numbers. I just need to know if she needs to meet the household of 2 size... Or household of 3.

Yes, the Sponsor will need to meet the household requirements for 3.

I sponsored 3 people couple of years back and now that Im doing the petition process for my husband I had to meet the poverty line for all of those 3 I sponsored, myself, and my husband (five in total).

Hope this answers your question.

Hi Everyone,

I have a question, after the AOS & IV fees are shown as paid. Does the NVC sent any email/mail correspondence requesting civill documents etc..? If yes how long do they normally take from the fees being showed as paid before you are contacted?

thanks.
