NVC Filers - December 2015

Good morning, Vj'ers fam.... my step daughter case cc on dec 18th scan date was nov 10th....can I request a expedite for, if yes where do I send the email to nvc or the embassy? ?Both her parent and stepparent not there and she presently stay with her grandmother but her grandma as a surgery to do in another country in February , there is no one else to keep her all this is giving my wife sleepless nights she's v stressed her daughter is only 12.... my wife as school and just started a new job...... she's planning on going back home for however long its takes bcuz Kingston Jamaica as a backlog. ....

If that's the case, and not just another way of saying "just keep waiting" then it doesn't surprise me. If you think about it the started receiving approved petitions from an additional service center (Potomac) around the same time mine was approved in the middle of November. The uscis might be speeding up due to the new location, but it's probably going to create even more of a bottleneck at the NVC. I was afraid that would happen. Looks like it might?

It definitely does! I bet they´re way overloaded with the Service Center. Things just look so unbalanced right now since it doesn´t make much sense to me to create new Service Centers but not taking the adequate measures to make sure that NVC will be able to handle the extra workload.

Just a heads up to everyone who´s currently waiting, I´ve just called NVC to check if everything looks good with my petition so far and the super gentle attendant told me that they are currently taking up to 45 days to complete cases!!!!

I do hope it does not take all that long, but it´s out of my control. Good luck to all of us.

I called NVC this morning, I was informed my scan date is December 19th.

It is just weird that NVC told me my scan date was on a Saturday Dec 19th. Strange, isn't?

I cant see that they handed over the letter to NVC only that it was in Chicago this weekend or so the tracker tells me.

Well i called and talked to a not so nice lady.

First she didnt talked to me, then she was rude.

But she told me that no papers was scanned yet, that she could see in system.

So my cc my first be 1 feb.

Check the tracker later today, it should say DELIVERED, if it gets delivered today, then you should get a Scan date between tomorrow and Thursday, but NOT Friday

Hey all. Called this AM. The IV payment is still in process but they told me to call if it doesn't show as paid tomorrow (I paid it Thursday and it cleared my bank Friday). I also asked if they received my documents Friday (I overnighted them Thurs) and he told me it takes up to 7 days for them to scan them so if they haven't been scanned in a week (I'll evidently receive an email), Call. Obviously will call early Thursday latest since they close at 2pm that day for the holiday. Hope everyone else cases are moving right along!

Happy sunday y'all! Today is my 30day point (since scan date). Should I call tomorrow and be put on supervisor review, or wait until after the holidays?

My Scan date is 11/20/15. hope to get CC soon (before Christmas)
