The interviewer gave me a visa rejected paper BUT (merged)

I applied for the spouse visa interview went fine but he wanted my original marriage certificate in my native language and 2014 tax returns and said "everything else looks fine" and submit these two documents via courier

But on the paper he marked these two items and the heading said" dear applicant sorry your visa got rejected"

What does this mean? Should i appeal again!? Or should i just sumbit the documents and il get the visa?

The paper that you were given, does it say 221 g? If so, its a temporary rejection, once you submit the documents they will approve. Send the documents asap! You are almost done!

hey,

im worried about this type of rejection, please tell me that its just a minor delay in my process, they asked for two things which i can provide within a few days, my question is this; will this set back cause major delay in my process?
i applied for the spouse visa and my case is in the islamabad pakistan embassy btw, any idea?how long can this process take and that i have nothing to worry about?

hello all
i applied for the spouse visa (im the wife of the us citizen), before i got my final interview call, the letter stated to bring the affidavit of support and IRS for the last filled year which was 2014; the interviewer briefly saw the documents and barely checked the affidavit and IRS. However i got 221g rejection letter and they asked me to bring my marriage certificate in my native language and 2014 tax returns and courier them to the embassy. My question is since they soooo specifically asked me to bring my affidavit of support and IRS of 2014, and didnt even check them properly (maybe looked at them for 1 minute literally), but on the 221g letter it just states the above mentioned TWO things , so should i send my affidavit and IRS 2014 along with it too?

or strictly send the marriage certificate and tax returns as mentioned on the 221g?

Same here , my wife got 221g prove of relationship by presenting wedding photos . I already sent them throug aramix on August 28 and they got them sept 8th . Until now administrative processing last time they update on September 14th .

I would suggest you only send the documents which are listed on the form g221, since you said CO looked at the documents including affidavit of support for a minute (barely) thats means he got what he needed to see. Just send (original nikah nama and 2014 tax return)

Im going to mail that to them soon but before doing that i wanted to ask

Apart from the 221g rejection letter (white) that they gave me is there anything else i should provide them? Any other paperwork involved?

It's the same thing- you are in admin processing while they wait for you to submit the documents, and then they check them.
