Cairo embassy announced that they are receiving immigration applications till 3 november and we are still waiting here the interview since june.. just can't believe them

Jamaica is not too far behind with delays. How did you get that information and I think I am missing something. Not sure I follow the November 3rd cut off date. Please help me understand.

It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress. One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A agai

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to you

I got the information from their official page on facebook. I dunno about jamaica but egypt is showing extremely slow performance. I got that idea by following the spreadsheet and finding many cases completed before mine and still waiting interview..

NVC informed over phone today that my interview is on 2nd November in Mumbai, India. Not received the email yet. Scan date: 8/27 and CC: 9/17



1. Can we attend the fingerprinting, medical and interview with the email printout.


2. Do we get a hard copy of the interview letter in the US mail.



The NVC person told me that they will not send any mail only email. Is that correct?

Was approved at our interview. So now, my status shows issued since yesterday. My daughter's portal read "issued" too as of yesterday, but now it reads, Ready. What does that mean?

CeeMu - honestly, the most important thing is that you were approved! Usually, the portal reads "Issued" right after they glue your visa foil into your passport. Perhaps some embassies/consulates change the status back to "Ready" when they deliver the passport to the delivery service.

I really don't know this answer for sure - but I'm so happy that you and your daughter have been approved!

Got interview appointment confirmation email from NVC now...am so happy right now..NVC is working , US embassy NIG is progressing..lol ..its high time I gather all my documents n schedul my Medicals..interview nov 6, cc aug3 ..

Wanna ask should I still expect physical confirmation letter through courier agent to b delivered to my address bf going for d medicals or can I proceed with d medicals with d email I got ..hop it's not to early to go for my Medicals..

NIGERIA is definitely on the Map. Something just said call NVC, I was going to call tomorrow. I decided to call while driving home from work, got through and to my surprise the man asked me do I have a paper and pen. I said YESSSSSSS......Our Interview is scheduled for 11/05/2015.....CC 09/02/2015....Glory be to GOD!!!!......Good luck everyone and Congratulations to everyone as well.......P.S. October is my birthday Month.....best early B-Day gift ever. :) Dwheels please update me and thank you for all you have done. :)

NVC is on a roll.Last night I was told we have an interview. Today we received our interview letter. Praise God. Question, should my husband get his medical exam right away? Our interview is 11/25

Our interview is scheduled for November 23rd. Our CC is 7/28. My due date is November 22nd. Hopefully we can get an earlier interview date.

Congrats! Saw your post and immediately called NVC. Our cc was 7/14...and we have an interview date also!!! Nov17 9am!!!

So excited...now to get medical done and try to get our date moved up so we can reunite daddy with our now 6 mth baby boy!

haha, but I made a post about my concern about my visa case, because I submitted documents before I was even invoiced the IV bill. luckily I received the bill through email days after my DS 261 was unlocked, but I am still concerned about whether or not I will receive a checklist, because it has been a week since my IV bill was invoiced, it has also been a week since NVC sent me an email stating they received my AOS and IV docs (scan date). I have not paid the IV bill nor started DS 260, I am still waiting on funds. So seeing your timeline was a refresher for me. Seems like they will not do anything until they get their money.
