OMG, OMG, OMG!!!

I just got an interview date!

It's November 6 at 9:20 am!

It's time for me to do the victory dance!

I have had such a difficult year, I really hope my interview will be okay and the beginning of a new and better life for me and my family.

I am hoping all of you who are still waiting will get good news soon.

It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress. One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A agai

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to you

Just got my passport back one hour ago, already booked a flight for tomorrow and paid the USCIS ELIS fee.. All packed and ready, finally!

Thanks everyone at VJ for all the help and good luck to everyone still waiting - it will be over soon and it will be worth it!

Dwheels, in regards to scheduling for a particular country....do they not go in order of CC date? I'm noticing that several people who had CC later than my own have an interview date earlier in the month than mine. Should I be concerned at all about that or do they just randomly throw people in slots with no rhyme or reason as to how they do it?

CC date does get you in the queue. PD dates usually get you the earlier dates in the month. If I have 10 cases for Lagos and you have varies CC's I am working with the PD does come in to play many times. Shouldn't someone that filed before you get a date before you.

Its been over two weeks i got interview email for Oct 29th (Lagos) but my case at ceac still says "At NVC". I haven't received IL letter yet. Anyone has interview for lagos NIG around the same date?

Call NVC and inquire you should have had interview letter by now. At NVC is no concern many times they don;t send off until 2 weeks prior.

Got my interview date. My husband and I have chosen to keep the date between us, for the time being. I will say that is during the average number of days that it takes for the SA embassy to schedule after case complete.

I'm in the habit of calling NVC on Friday mornings to endure redialing over and over, then finally connecting, then listening to that same old horribly monotonous tune for ages.

I told myself I wouldn't call today, because it's always the same answer (NO), but it's such a habit, I finally gave in and called just now. It was the usual answer...."No interview".

I'll call again next Friday.

Since you have to do the VAC appointment within 10 days of the interview, my mother in law just waited and did them both on the same day (8 days before her interview). That way she wouldn't have to make an extra trip to the capital. But if he lives near the capital, it's not such a big deal. Good luck!

Hi everyone,

Looks like they have started schedualing November interviews for Madrid spain. I just got an email for nvc saying my wife's interview is on November 12 ?? so excited to get her back home soon.
