My husband flew to the USA and we married a couple weeks later. We sent in the AOS package and payment and did the biometric appt. He was with me 4 months when there was a grave family emergency back

It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress. One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A agai

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to you

It wasn't ...give NVC a call..I did ds afternoon n I was told my case as bn scheduled for an interview CC aug3 Interview November 6..(repLagos)

I'm trying. Gets busy now about this time of month.

Just called U.S. Embassy in Jordan to confirm appointment, they're saying they don't have an appointment for my husband. NVC letter states appointment should be October 6th. What should I do? We already got medical done.

Go to your appointment as scheduled.

Deweels, what site do I go to to pay for the Visa? I want to make sure I am on the right site. Our interview is next Thursday and I need to bring the receipt with us showing we paid.... I believe this is what we need to do lol

NIGERIA CALL NVC!!!! Just called them and was scheduled for November 11th! She said i was actually scheduled just yesterday!! CC August 4th!!!

Try calling NVC, you are a day ahead of me and we just got scheduled!!

Thank you was just going to tell folks but that's good looking out that's how we do it.

Excited for Naija!! hihihi GhANA NEXT! Did you call nvc? For those who got their interviews scheduled. Anything changed yet on the case status check or does it still say 'at nvc'?

Status takes a few days to a week to change. It won't change until they ship out your petition. So looking at that doesn't help if you are wondering about an interview date.

I got you . Congratulations. Now please prepare for your embassy they are no joke. Get you ducks in a row. And I pray you had a kick butt petition package and NVC side loading.

Called NVC yesterday, still no interview date at Mumbai consulate ?. Case complete on 4th Aug. What I don't understand is that people with CC after me have interview dates! Not fair!

I don't get that either. Really weird what is going on at NVC.

Thank you, dwheels and maniput for your advices on the previous thread.

I finally got a hold of the person I talked the other day and he said that he resistered me to the site because he had to to make a inquiry case.

According to him, immigrant visa appointment is different from the "appointment" on the site so I'm not to worry.

I am filling in the profile now.

By the way, about the additional documents, it turned out that bringing my husband's pay stub would work so I'm going to do so.

I am very grateful for dwheels and other members on vj being so supportive and helpful. I don't know where I would be without this site. Can't wait for my interview on next Monday!

Just called NVC and the nice guy told me they just had scheduled interview for my husband for ciudad Juarez 11/13 ???? congrats to all who are receiving good news and I'm praying for the ones who haven't to get their good news soon!!

October 01: Called NVC, rep confirmed case complete
