My Mom received an email (08/14/15) from NVC that they received the AOS&IV documents lasy 08/11/15. It says on the email to wait 30 days for them to review it and they will notify if more information is needed OR if they able to schedule an interview overseas.

I wonder if the 30 days reviewing is accurate somehow? Ive read that reviews is around 60 days.

Thanks and Good luck to everyone on NVC stage. :clock:

A couple have had their review complete by the 20 day or 21 day mark. I hope that trend continues.

When you call to find out when your case has left USCIS, keep calling NVC to find out when they've received it. My case was received Aug 20 and my case number assigned only 2 business days later !!!! (Aug 24) Not sure if this is something thats trending but I waited a week thinking that would be a long shot that it would be assigned within a week and it had already been done and by the time i had called my AOS fee and DS-261 was already waiting for me!!

sounds great, will do, and will let you know. Hopefully, it is as quick for us.

Hello, based on the screenshot you are double counting yourself. If I am not wrong, I believe item # 1. is the person being sponsored, which is you (the spouse). So in this case you would have to remove the "1" from item #3 "married" Also, you entered "1" on item #4, which is children....you would only enter a # here if you have any children. Based on what you previously said, it is only You (beneficiary), your spouse (petitioner), and your in laws, which equal the four, am I right? So, you would have to remove that 1 from item #4 as well.

Hope this helps! Again, my advice is based on what you said, about being a total of four in the household (you, your spouse, mother-in-law, father-in-law). Please double check that item #1 is the person being sponsored, because I am just guessing, since it is getting the information from a line item you put in Part 3 (which I am unsure what it is).

Yes, it does have a catchy tune....I get so used to it when I call, since I am waiting for more than 30 minutes, that when the rep answers, they catch me off-guard...and I have to remember why I called them in the first place. lol

my wife is my petitioner sponsor and its different household, i am talking about my father in law (my co sponsor) who is filing the form now and combining income with his son and wife under the VA benefits, i think I will check number 3 with (1) and number (4) with (1) then leave section 7 (0), then my father in law household size including me will be 4. what you think?

Oh ok, I misunderstood. Yes, if this is being filled out by your father-in-law, then yes. So it would be item #1 (you), item #2 (your father-in-law) item #3 (your mother-in-law) and item #4 (your brother-in-law). :)

You guys have any idea on if CEAC could change during the day?

Or is it just updated once a day?

From my understanding, it CAN change during the day anytime they make a change. Whether they will do more than one thing in a day or not is another story... would explain why cases appear "locked."

If you guys have any questions specifically for me,

I will be glad to help via private message.
