Better to call both uscis and nvc to figure out where it is...assuming everything will done correctly would not be wise

Good that it was quick for you. I am still grateful that I got mine reviewed under 30 days. Now praying hard for a CC since it's been 14 days for me :)

We have the same scan date. Can't wait for CC.

Hello everyone I am trying to call USCIS to verify whether our file has been sent to the NVC on this number 18003755283, i'm calling from the Eastern Caribbean. I am not able to get through to speak to a customer service rep. The option that I am getting says to call back between the hours of 8am and 6pm, it is already after 9am in my country. Anyone has any idea whether it is because of a time difference I am unable to get through, what time would it be suggested to call? Thanks appreciate any responses.

Which options are you selecting? I think customer service (ncsc) should be available by now. Did you try calling back? At first they state their hours, but this doesn't mean they're not available on line.

If you guys have any questions specifically for me,

I will be glad to help via private message.

Looks like the NVC process is a list of tiny-winy steps, each one we have to worry about separately... :clock:

Your case should have already been sent. Call USCIS and ask for a tier 2 supervisor. If it was sent to NVC you should have gotten an email and the status would show online as forwarded to the state department.

I had some down time so i thought I'd call to check if there was an issue why you can't get through.

Call 1 (800) 375-5283

Press 1

Press 2

Press 2

Press 2 and I got a rep within a minute.

Or call and just don't press anything. The system will automatically assume you are on a rotary phone and transfer you directly to a rep. Just let the automated system talk and then a rep will pick up. If they speak Spanish just apologize and tell them you speak English.

Good Luck.

Hey,

Does anybody know what the document review department is ? I thought that was the regular review department.

We were put on supervisor review on august 12

Then, I spoke to supervisor Lyvia on August 28.

Last monday, an operator told me that on august 28, Lyvia put us on a second supervisor review, and that it will/can take another 42 days to get reviewed.

Today, a new supervisor told me that on august 28, Lyvia put us on a document review department, not a supervisor review, and that it will/can take another 42 days to get reviewed.
