VJ Processing Times page estimates CSC to be doing petitions with August 22 NOA1 dates. So I guess September filers are still on track. Besides, the publicly announced processing time for CSC is 5 months. So yeah, patience. ?

I do think having the Visa before Christmas is possible, however, I'm not sure yet how long it's gonna take at the embassy in Frankfurt...

How can you see that on the app?

Make sure to use the iOS version of the app (android version doesn't have full functionality).

On the app, go to Search and enter starting case number that is lower than yours and then how many cases to search (don't do more than 400-500 at a time).

Once it give you the list -- look for 129F forms.

Once you find any of them, separately, check to see what is the status & date of that single receipt.

It would be amazing to have our loved ones with us by christmas and may be possible for some but realistically, I don't expect it to be by christmas. I do hope that it stays within the 5-6mo timeframe though which actually would put us at around feb/march ish; however, all we can do is hope and pray and let go of the things we have no control of and plan as best as we can accordingly.

Hi all!

My fiance (petitioner) sent in our I-129F paperwork on the 15th of September via FedEx and it has arrived at the Dallas Lockbox as of the 18th!

Waiting patiently for the NOA1 now. We would love to be together for next summer, so as long as this process stays on track with the noted estimated timeline we should be golden!

Can't believe that after almost 9 years of dating, we're finally going to get this rolling.

Our preferred timeframe for me to get there is in April (I guess if we're approved way before I can just drag the process out till then). I'll be visiting him for Christmas though, I'm so excited :-)

Congrats!! Now the more anxiety-inducing waiting begins, lol. There's a possibility that we can have the visa before Christmas, but as they say- hope for the best but expect the worst. My fiancé and I were just talking about it last night. That the best case scenario will be being together already in the new year. ?

You can be together for Christmas, if you can process each and every step with no hiccups. You see, you have a leg up on other Embassy's because you are processing through the Philippines and a lot of the procedures you will do yourself. So it's up to you how fast you want to proceed.

I'll offer you some help for free and it's my guide for the step by step processing for US Embassy Manila. If you follow the steps you will by-pass a lot of the gotcha's that the Philippine Government entities can through in your path. I have been down the road your taking and I outline my experiences and the experiences of 100's before you. It's all up to date and it will get you that visa sooner than later with much less headaches.

You can shorten that if you begin to get your paperwork for the Embassy interview now rather then later. Visit the Oslo US Embassy website for the process if you have not already done so. Also, visit the sub-forum for your country here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/95-europe-eurasia-except-the-uk-and-russia/.

Many people there are processing ahead of you and can give you their experience.
