Hello everyone!

I decided to open this topic so we could all share this incredible journey!

We sent our petition yesterday, the estimation arrival is September 3rd, so I believe we are included in September filers!

I sincerely hope everything will be just fine, and we are gonna be send to California Service Center!!

Hope to hear from somebody else!

Sent our petition in on Wednesday the 2nd. Just arrived today. Praying for a smooth process all the way through. Estimate from the timelines has me in hopes that she will have a visa in hand by March of next year and we will be able to have a summer wedding in July. should we hope there isn't too many applicants this month, maybe things go even faster. Anyone know if there is a month to month trend? i would expect the summer to be the busiest

Welcome to VJ and to the Sept filers. A bit of advice as you start your journey. The journey is all about patience. You'll need plenty, believe when I say this.

To help you with your journey, there are two additional ways to get updated and or correspond if needed with UCIS and those are myUCIS and the phone app. I recommend getting both and the links are in my signature below. They are all FREE.

For those processing through the Embassy for the US at Philippines while you are getting your apps, take a look around the guide as this is the step by step experience which you will travel in pursuit of your K-1 visa in The Philippines. What the site will do is guide you around the hiccups and the "gotchas". It to is Free.

The best place to be to get answers to your questions is in the sub-forum for your country. To find the sub-forum for your country go to the top of this page, select "Forums", then scroll down the page to "General Discussion Area", then within that area scroll a little ways down to "Regional Discussions". Once in your regional discussion forum go ahead and post your question and those who are knowledgeable for many of your questions "why this", "can you explain this", "where is this" or "why is it taking so long" can be answered by those who have already experienced what you are about to.

Just a recommendation to relieve your stress and to enlighten you on what is available in the way of help.
