Thank you guys for creating that group on fb=) And I am really happy to have you all around=)

About next visa bulletin.. I am wondering if they said to wait for next VB so there should be big progression or retrogression. I hope that it will be progress=) :joy: But I am affraid also that it could be retrogression as far as I told already I saw on USCIS web site that processing times became October 2014 for I 130 applicaation in California center and before it was 5 monthes? what is your thoughts?

hehe! you're welcome :) update your progress on the google sheet we created :) hmmm there was a retrogression recently... so i am hoping no retrogression again.. the processing time became October 2014 for I 130 in CSC hopefully because they transferred cases from VSC.. also, we know someone with a PD of June 2015 who received her WL! So hopefully it's a sign of big jump. plus usually, when the election is near they process visa faster.. that's what i have heard ha.

Lets pray for the progress of VB. I failed to understand why US creates demarcation among spouse of US GC holder v/s processing spouse of US Citizen.

We love our spouse and family too and call for equal rights and hence there should be no difference in processing

I spoke with a really friendly lady @ NVC who gave me my case ID / IIN etc and advised that my case is not yet ready for further processing due to the priority date.

They did not have an email address on file for me so I got that added but she said a letter was sent out to my mailing address recently. The ceac website does not allow me to make payment either.

Not to mention we are documented and we pay our taxes.. they are busy debating over undocumented aliens. oh well.

I understand most here with PD as early as January and February 2015 are expecting their welcome letter to arrive the soonest. And assume also that those with earlier PD than the first 2 months of 2015 already received theirs.

My question is, up to how long or how many months do we need to facilitate choice of agent, AOS and IV payment and submission of financial documents (these are initial steps to NVC) so that the petition will still be valid? Personally, i need to move my compliance by at least 2-3 months due to personal reasons.

Please enlighten me. TIA.

@djawal,

My case was approved on 13may 2015. NVC received on 17 June 2015. Thanks for asking.

@carot12,

Did you send I-824 to them before they sent your approved petition to NVC, and did you file I-130 at California Service Center.

Thank you.
