do have the case complete letter back in July? might of gotten it july 17th since its usually a 7 day wait for it in email ?

looking at your timeline.. you responded to the checklist on thr 7th of july and got a cc on the 10th? or am I reading it wrong?

You are reading it right. Every single time I called since July 10th, that was the established case complete date. I received email from NVCInquiry on July 25th that my case was completed in a reply to status question I asked in May. But I did not receive the standard case complete mail.

see if you get a email on the 14th saying case complete. there was someone a while ago that was told that she had a case complete and in fact she didn't.. weird systems I tell ya. but since you didn't receive the actual case complete email that everyone receives and they say today is the day of cc on the 14th you should receive something. on the 14th you will know for sure if today was your actual CC. sorry your going through all this. not sure why they told you when infact you didn't or why they say its today when infact its last month...... smh

This is the email I got from NVCInquiry on July 25th:

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: MTL********* filed by ***** ****** on behalf of ***** ******.

The NVC completed its processing of ***** ******'s visa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MONTREAL, CANADA. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

As this case is processing electronically, all forms and documents must be sent via email as scanned attachments to NVCElectronic@state.gov. Sending physical documents to the NVC will delay the processing of your case.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Immigrant visa applications on the Department of State's Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC <http://ceac.state.gov/>) are now accessible to the majority of applicants who need to submit Form DS-261 Choice of Address and Agent and Form DS-260 Immigrant Visa Application online, and pay their visa fees. Technical specialists will continue their work resolving our consular systems issues over the next week. If you are still having difficulty we recommend that you wait at least 24 hours before trying again; you can also follow the instructions at <http://nvc.state.gov/solutions>. Thank you for your patience as the Department continues to resolve recent technical problems with our consular systems.

Case Number: MTL*********

Petitioner's Name: ***** ******

Felllaamazing, I think the problem came in when you responded to the checklist. You say in your signature that your got a new SD/PCC received day and on the same day got your CC.... So from 10th July to 25th that is two weeks later you got a real CC.. Saw someone here who had a similar situation... (a checklist and a CC) and had to intercept his USPS response to a checklist coz it would have delayed the process.

Personally i got a CC on 10th July and an CC email on 17th.

Mother & Daughter
Mom's CC: May 19 2015
Kid's CC: July 10th 2015(after checklist)
Interview Scheduled: August 27th 2015
Medical Date: Sept 11th 2015(Passed!!!)
Registered our appointment online: Sept 16th 2015
Interview Date: Sept 29th 2015 Approved!!

Looking at the "Case Complete to Interview" spreadsheet, it seems like most interviews for August were scheduled around July 14th. The "case complete" for those were mostly in June and as late as July 10th, just 4 days before getting an interview scheduled.

I'd guess the NVC has a date (around the end of the second week of the month) where they set all the interviews.

For those with complete cases in July and early August, let's hope to hear something by the end of next week!

I was reviewing the info on scheduled September interviews on the spreadsheet. I noticed that 2/3 of the interviews were scheduled in mid-August for September interviews. Then, at the end of August, they started scheduling October interviews.

Maybe that is when they will be scheduling the majority of appts. We'll just have to wait and see.

Y'all had me scared for an hour (the time it took to reach an NVC rep). Our case was completed on July 20, confirmed on July 21 over the phone and until this date, we STILL haven't received the CC email. Called a little while ago and the rep confirmed again that the CC was 7/20 and said that it was strange that we still haven't received the email, so she put in a resend request.

Didn't ask about interview dates, but does anybody know what happens if you choose the new interview confirmation(?) option on the automated menu? Does it redirect you to a representative or another menu or what?
