appears that someone from Nigeria got scheduled today for September.

seems like September is about to begin, spoke to lady at NVC on phone yesterday didn't see any September appointments till last night, sounds strange but we have to buy it. :)

I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

I would hope the embassy in Ciudad Juarez is just as quick but probably also very busy. I agree with Dweels, everyone should be able to schedule there interviews as cases complete....the back and forth deal is such a pain. There has to be a better system put in place. :help:

Hi all, just wanna give my timeframe for my interview - picking up visa.

Us consulate In Montreal: 7 business days after interview- visa application status is now ISSUED.

My Journey:

March 29, 2013 :PD Dec-20, 2013 USCIS approval date July 28. 2015 (F) (F) (F)Interview Date APPROVED.

Just called NVC and got through! Is it just me or did they completely update their call system?! There's choices for everything now (scheduling interview, getting case update, etc...)! I did call from Skype for the first time...not sure if that makes a difference...? But wow! I was actually impressed. Got through fairly fast. My whole call only took 6 minutes 29 second from wait to end.

The lady did tell me that she thought all interviews for September were scheduled. Having faith that this is not accurate!

08-06-14 : Married

08-22-14 : I-130 Sent

08-27-14 : NOA1

01-16-15 : NOA2

02-24-15 : NVC Received

02-28-15 : Submit DS-261 (originally)

04-03-15 : Resubmit DS-261 (DONT TOUCH THE LINK WHEN WAITING FOR DS-261 TO BE REVIEWED!!!!)

04-13-15 : AOS Invoice Paid

04-14-15 : IV Invoice Paid

05-21-15 : Sent AOS & IV Package

05-26-15 : Scan Date

06-21-15 : Received checklist

07-02-15 : New scan date

07-25-15 : Logged onto CEAC and saw three N/A's!

Yes I would agree full force has not begun. They did same thing last month. It was a couple end of month than nothing for like 2 weeks than wham. So hang on people. Good news is coming. I stand by that.

I believe that was either BS or a expedite because their name is fake (I soooooooo hate when people do that :ranting::protest: )

I have people for Nigeria with CC 2nd week of June still waiting so someone with a CC 7/23. No way unless its expedite. I will delete them I think they are trying to start wahala (problems)

I've been a consistent follower of VJ site..it gives me hope reading other people's journey..Case completed on June 16,2015.currentlybwaiting on an interview..this journey has taught me to be sooo patient,omg!!..I realize.calling NVC daily doesn't make a difference..the wait is terrific.!!!.Wishing myself & everyone luck waiting on d last phase..almost there but seems soo long!!From d post,i see d last cc that has gotten interview for Lagos Nigeria Embassy is June 6th..Nna mehnn!!
