NOA2 Approvals-October 2014 Filers (TSC)

About the I-134, my fiance needs a co-sponsor, his brother will be that co-sponsor. Does he need to fill out another I-134 form or is there a co-sponsor one? Idk neither of us see a section on the form for co-sponsors.

Region/consulate specific I'm afraid. For London only the co-sponsor needs to fill out, your consulate may be different.

So it's been 9 days since I got my NOA2... should I start calling NVC or wait a full 2 weeks? I'm getting antsy :dancing::)

Have you received a notice via email that they sent out your application to NVC yet? If not, keep checking at the USCIS website until you see that they've sent it out. Mine was sent out on the 8th. I called on the 15th and was told it might be there but that it hadn't been processed yet. I called again this Tuesday, and the NVC had already processed it and assigned the numbers. Judging by the case number I was given, they actually did indeed process it on the 15th, the very day I phoned.

Hi guys! Didn't know this existed :) I thought if there was one myself!

Thank you April & yuna for helping me realize I had the wrong link, hahaha. We wasted 4 days by not doing the ds160 form. UGH!

We started calling NVC a week in, knowing it typically takes 2 weeks to get there. We called a few times (best times to call are 6:59am & 11pm ET) and it got there about 2 weeks after NOA2. We didn't get a notification (via mail) until this week, so it definitely comes later. We kept calling to see if it got there and then to find out when it was sent over to Ecuador. The same day it got to NVC they assigned us a case number, then 2 days later it was off to Ecuador! It got there within a day and the CEAC website told me it was ready for interview. Before that, it hadn't told me it left yet, and I was checking for days! Then all of a sudden it said ready for interview.

We already had all of our documents together and ready- affidavit of support, copy of application, extra evidences (& continued evidence), etc. We just filled out the ds-160 today and have those confirmation pages printed, too.

Medical is scheduled for tomorrow, and we're calling tomorrow to see if they can get us an interview for next week. So excited to have this be over with!! :)

Hope everyone's post- NOA2s go well! And congrats to new NOA2ers!!!

Thank you!! The arrival at NVC part seems to be exactly 2 weeks after NOA2 as an average (I checked out SO many timelines, hahah), so hopefully that will be the same for all filers here! Then the rest is purely based on your consulate. Luckily ours has been really great, so we're hoping that when we call tomorrow they can schedule a quicker interview than June (which was automatically scheduled online). Hope everyone else's is as quick as ours was, too! :) I suggest that if you're waiting and don't have info on something, it doesn't hurt to call! We called NVC and our embassy a dozen times over the last 2 weeks.

I think some people say it takes a while to arrive and others never get it at all. Wait for the embassy to contact you with next steps. Or with your case number you can probably just go ahead and complete the ds160 and maybe even book the medical. It's all embassy specific though.

Welcome to all the new approvals!!

My case still says approved on uscis so it hasn't left for nvc yet. womp womp. I'm getting impatient.

There is a lot to do between now and the interview. Take it one step at a time. Don't think about it all because it could become overwhelming.

If you haven't seen the flowchart check this out: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

If your fiance (and/or your cosponsor) hasn't completed and sent you the I-134 w/ supporting documents you can start with that.

Check out the France embassy guide. Gives good info about embassy specific stuff. http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=France&cty=Paris

I found a thread in the Europe regional forum that might have good info for you. Check that out too. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/473587-frenchamerican-couples-part-iii-2014/page-43

Digest those and you should feel better about what to expect for the next steps. When the embassy receives your petition, they will send a letter with instructions.
