We don't even call. We just send in our stuff and patiently wait. I like to think that the time they are on the phone could be better spent processing our cases.

So seven months instead of five at USCIS. and then your daughters case even another four months after that! That's ridiculous.

I can't even imagine being away from my hubby that long. We try to fly back and forth whenever we can. Longest apart was 5.5 months which was already like infinity for me. Think this time around it's gonna be longer than that, thanx to nvc.

Little info: phone operators don't process cases. That's a different division at NVC. Phone operators are just contracted out to answer calls.

calling doesnt matter, the reps arent working on our cases anyway, they just there to answer the phones :)

my hubby lives in california, so for me its an 15h flight,i was scared they wont let me in and didnt expect that the process will be that long anyway, i thought 5 month uscis 2 month nvc and i will be with my hubby for x-mas 2014 ....but....i guess i should be happy when i see him for 1015 x-mas

Has anyone called their embassy yet?

We are aware that some applicants continue to experience technical difficulty. If you are unable to access the form DS-260, DS-261, or pay immigrant visa processing fees and have an emergency need, please contact the Embassy where your visa will be processed for further instructions. We are working to address this issue and apologize for any inconvenience.

This is what I got from embassy in 4 business days:

Good morning,

Thank you for your email!

Please note that you must submit the below mentioned forms directly to NVC and not the U.S Consulate General Montreal.

Please note that the U.S Consulate General Montreal is aware of the technical difficulties NVC is experiencing. Some of our applicants see an error message however it allows them to click continue and then proceed to the next page. Perhaps you can try again and see if it gives you the option of clicking continue below the red error message. If you still are unable to continue then you will have to discuss your concern with NVC as we do not have the file and cannot proceed without receiving it from NVC.

Best regards,

OP11

Anyways, I sent my payment yesterday using USPS Express. Someone picked it up around noon, and signed it. Let's see if my payment gets updated on NVC system some time. Did anyone else had luck with that?
