What? Are you serious. I honestly thought that you just hadn't updated you account. I'm so sorry to hear this. I am over here going crazy out of my mind today is my birthday and it kills me that 207 days after filling my petition I am still without my love. I know I should feel grateful that I am at least out of TSC but in a way it's very little comfort. I mean those that file in California in December and January of this year are with there love ones already. I know very well there's still plenty of people who filed before me that are still waiting to get out of TSC and I just feel sick to my stomach about it but still I am so frustrated today.

It's super hard to be away from them on special days like birthdays! Happy birthday, Ethline. I hope you two do something very special next year to make up for being apart this year!

I'm serious. :(

I've called every business day since the 10th - the date the case numbers were assigned - and they keep telling me a variety of things:

"Just waiting to be sent out."

"Still undergoing administrative processing."

"It should be sent soon, we don't process them here so they are sent out pretty quickly."

"Please allow two weeks from the date we assigned the case numbers."

"Call back Friday, it should be on it's way soon."

I feel your frustration Ethline, I really do. Everything about my process from NOA2 has taken so much longer than others, that it's hard to not worry about what's holding it up. Or whether it will get lost or something. My anxiety and depression because of this is becoming unbearable. 222 days of this and seems like many more to come.

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ETHLINE! (L):dancing:

My case hasn't left NVC. Arrived 4/7, case number assigned 4/10. And it's still there. I don't understand.

:(

Take this for what it's worth, but it intrigued me a few months back to see that some left NVC almost immediately after a case number was assigned and others lay around there for up to a month. It appears that certain consulates don't take the case files until they have availability to schedule the next block of interviews. Others, like ours, will receive the case and let it lie there until they are ready to assign an interview. So, while some breeze through NVC, they get stuck at the embassy for longer. Others sit idle at NVC for lengthy periods of time and once they are shipped to the embassy, the interview notice follows shortly. In other words, they screw everyone over somewhere - it just varies as to whether it's at the Visa Center or in the beneficiary's country. Our case was in and out of NVC in just over a week, but it's been sitting in London for a couple of weeks now and the timeline guide for London is looking like the interviews for cases recently received may still be another six weeks away. Sigh.

On a happy note, Happy Birthday, Ethline! Sorry you don't get to share it with your fiance. There have been way too many missed birthdays and other celebrations that should rightfully be shared, courtesy of TSC. You'll have to get a fresh cake when your fiance finally gets there to celebrate properly again - together. I hope you are having a good day, anyway (F)

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes I tell you guys this sight honestly gives me life. There's nothing like having a group of people who can really relate to what you are going through. The support on VJ is just unbelievable. This process can really take a toll on you mentally. For our Embassy we get to choose our own interview date and time but they take about two weeks to get you out packet 3. We tried to schedule our medical and was told we need the letter that is included in packet3.To think we have to go through this all over again during AOS. Hot dang that's insane. Well at least our love ones will be with us.

First of all, my fiance and I are glad to hear you are approved!

Second, from what I've been looking at, it takes between 3 and 5 weeks to send the case over the embassy in Colombia, I'm not really sure about the other embassys since every country is a different story, but I'would say 3 to 6 weeks it's a standard.

Congrats!!

I'm so happy to see all of these September approvals.

I only just recently started keeping track of weekly approvals; is this many per day pretty typical or has it picked up recently?

Good luck to those still waiting.
