Event Description

Embassy Review : My fiance and I arrived at the embassy at 9:45am. I did not carry any electronics in the event that I was asked to come inside. My fiance brought the overflowing 3-ring binder of evidence I created with a beautiful photo of us slipped into the sleeve on the front and back. An officer outside approached us and asked what time our appointment was, I responded "10am," and he gestured to in line.

I asked if I could go with my fiance and he said yes and I WAS ABLE TO ACCOMPANY HIM ALL THE WAY INTO THE INTERVIEW ROOM!

The majority of the seats were empty in the waiting area. We sat together toward the back, but each time he was called to a window a moved to a seat to be closer to him. <3

He was called up 2 times: 1st to submit all of the required information. 2nd for the interview. The interview lasted under 2 minutes, and he was not asked for any evidence of our ongoing relationship. The officer was a very nice woman. She asked him 3 questions, and the only question relating to our relationship was "How did you meet?" Following the explanation, the officer told my fiance he could go home and his passport and visa would be delivered via DHL.

We were out of the embassy within an hour.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
