After 1 year and 12 days, finally I got an update from USCIS:

(New Card Being Produced - On July 31, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.)

No welcome letter and no notification about registering my card or my resident. After one week of receiving my RFE (Medical Exam + Marriage Certificate).

Let's see how much it takes to reach me :)

Good Luck Everyone, just hang on. It is really long journey with lots of stress and anticipations. But eventually it will happen (sooner or later)

Your case really is a disgrace. I'm sure you have done this already but have you written to the manager of the office where your case is? USCIS are [cough] committed to processing the cases in the order in which they receive them [laugh]. You could ask why that isn't the case for you.

Are cards taking longer to be mailed these days? It seems like the average is ~1 week but ours has said "in production" for 2 weeks now.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Decision

On July 31, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSC1491402940. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by September 29, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I thought I won't not get a welcome notice. Now I will sit tight and wait :)

Hazi&Muzzy... congratulations! That's the fastest approval I've seen since I started following this 5 months ago. But it sure doesn't make sense why it was so fast when there are so many older ones still waiting. But here's to hoping that faster processing continues (for everyone) and that for those who've waited the longest that the green would come soon.
