Hi everyone...we got a checklist for I 864 ON 11/03/2014 and our scan dates were AOS 09/03/2014 and IV 09/23/2014 .

As for me...I got CCWC "Case Complicated With Checklist" and more time in the NVC penalty box

I'm just curious about why you think it'll be by Summer before he's here? I'm honestly hoping or thinking my wife should be here by February since scan date is Oct. 23rd. Why are you shooting so far out? Even spring...?

We have the same scan date as you and we are hoping for end of January or February as well!! Fingers crossed :-D

Hubby just called Nvc. They said they have stopped scheduling for dec they said we r scheduling for jan now

But your almost there sweet heart, don't look at it as if you will be there for Christmas or New Years, there are many more to come. Look at it as, how far you have come and how close you are. I know everyone is centering everything on these holidays but in the long run it's just a date and there will be plenty more to celebrate. Just so close, Love you girl, stay strong you close to the finish line.

and its also officially 30 days at NVC, 30 more to go. Hopefully less and hopefully no checklists. I cant take another 60 days after

I check at 8 am, still said paid. I checked at 10 and it changed to N/A. I'm currently waiting for the meds for my wisdom teeth to kick in, so I can't cs for a while.

Oh sweet heart I hope this woman was just having a bad day, I'm shocked she didn't give you the green light for your Visa. I wonder why she said it depended on the form she asked you to fill out unless it's only to confirm your address? They are just so full of it, how pathetic this system is. WHAT, WHAT! If you get CC with Checklist why do you have to wait at NVC? OMG what the h e l l is going on EOC now you this is just ridiculous and pathetic! I'm so very sorry this has happened.

I agree just so upsetting and this is why I couldn't be thrilled just because we get CC, it means nothing to me until you walk out of the airport after last step POE.

Hi everyone,

I submitted the AOS and IV documents towards the end of October and I paid the fees in early October. I thought things were speeding up, but I see NVC is just getting through mid-September. It's been a long journey so far, but we're blessed that everything seems to be going along smoothly. I really hope he'll be here by next spring or summer. Good luck everyone.

Good way to look at it, we just never know whats going to happen specially since our husbands are Egyptian. Sad but they have power over us for now. So happy it's going smoothly for you.

Cairo Embassy is well known for torturing US citizens since by the time your at NVC all the agency's have already checked our spouses including Interpol who has a

great reputation for background checks. They have way to much power over us and it's the reason it goes to some of these peoples heads. They don't even have to give us reason for putting us in AP which can take forever.

Sigh. I pray this is the last month we will be ranting and waiting.

Hi! First time poster in this thread.

Just wanted to share my frustration, not with the NVC but with my bank of all people.

I've tried to pay the AOS fee twice before and it turns out that the slip I got from my bank had the WRONG ACCOUNT NUMBER ON IT! As if I don't have enough to worry about. I'm thrilled though b/c the AOS fee is showing as paid AND it's come out of my checking account. Hoping to get the AOS paperwork scanned and emailed tonight as I believe that's my next step (if the CEAC instructions can be believed).

It may take as little as 10 minutes to get a police certificate of some countries while it could take months for other countries if you're applying from overseas.

I hope you can get your other country's police certificate quickly. Fingers crossed!
