Hi everyone! I am an American male who is 24 and my Japanese fiancée is 31. We sent in our I-129F packet today. We searched on VJ but didn't find what we're were looking for. Do you think we will be okay? Is this a large age difference and bad that the male is younger ?

Hi!

Im 24 and my USC husband is 33. I don't think there will be a problem. I see in your case you are the younger one but still I don't think is a crazy age difference.

Lots of couples here and everywhere have age difference, and even bigger differences! Don't worry about it :) also Asian genes are really good so soon you may look older than her ;) haha just a joke :)

If you have a legitimate relationship it's not a problem.

It is nothing compared to many couples here who have gap between 30-40 years age of difference. Age does not matter as long as your relationship is genuine. My husband is 13 years older than me. Never came up during the immigration proses and you should be just as fine as like the rest of us. Good luck.

No I don't think that's a large age difference in my opinion. There are many couples here with very large age differences 10-20+ years.

36 years to be exact! ( male older than female).

The US doesn't consider her age or yours as a criteria. Just proof that you are legally able to marry and that she will not be a burden to the us,such as govermment assistance. That's all. Don't sweat. And keep loving your fiancee . Everything will be fine.
